What is fact is that the initial signing, and subsequent resignings were all conducted by CEOs who were current members of the St George Leagues club board.

It’s not the role of a chairman to intervene in operational matters.

That’s why you have a CEO.

Does anyone understand the financial mess the club is supposed to be in? Gould has stated a couple of his recommendations could not be implemented because the club "didn't have the money for it" ?. Mary can't be sacked for the same reason. How does a club backed by a large, rich media organisation with the boss' son on the board get into this position?
If a public company was run like this circus they would call in the administrators.

Why was it WIN who got the club share ownership when there were other investors who actually publicly said they would invest money in the club such as the owner of Sydney Kings who is a huge dragons fan.

I get that we’re all focussing our anger on the board now instead of Doust so it seems easier to absolve him, but to have the club CEO not able to appoint a coach is illogical.

Apportioning blame on individuals is futile. We can argue who did what over the course of 2 decades until the cows come home.

We know that the board ( collective ) has fooked up over the past decade. Its what they do now moving forward that counts.

Our on field performances are a result of boardroom decisions. TBH, im not sure how many here are privy as to who voted for what and when, but again that wont change anything.
