St Hallet CDW. '11. Nice, but quite short. Very easy to drink though. Not highly acidic and light bodied. Enjoyable with the weather and a mild chicken curry.

Had their Cornelius 2010 Pinot Noir this arvo, v v enjoyable.

Always enjoy their reds.

Bill Brand's Right Side of the Tracks, '12 Coonawarra Cabernet. Juicy, long finish, cherry, jam, black currant, a little bit of tar or laather at the end, vanilla due to oak - very nice.

[Bazal]

2008 Devils Lair Cabernet. Classic Margaret River. Black fruit, very savoury, tomato leaf finish and big tannins, chocolate from the oak. Probably a good time to drink it.

2011 Cullen Margaret River White. Sav Blanc, Semillon, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc Verdelho, Riesling. Even though riesling only makes up 2%, it's the dominant character for me along with the chenin and maybe the verdelho. Tropical fruit, floral, lightly aged characters.

We may crack a shiraz shortly. We'll see

Wynns Shiraz 2008. Drinking great, black fruit, graphite, olive, some tannin left, pretty happy I can still type as well. Probably drink within a year or two.

Maretti Langhe Rosso 2012. Blend of 70% Barbera and 30% Nebbiolo. Plenty of juicy red fruit, with the Nebbiolo mainly contributing tannin to the drink. Bottle says it will develop "complexity and character" for many years, in my opinion many years = 2 max.
