I agree that Cuthbertson is a fine player, but I'm not sure we need someone like him over and above a slightly better half.
Mortimer and Keating look good, but I wouldn't mind a mid-range proven performer to provide depth and pass on some knowledge. I know such options are few and fair between, but I can see why we were reportedly interested in Fien (don't know how he'll fit into the Dragons' plans ... presumably Priddis is finishing up). I know people throw Matthew Head's name around, but he's sooooooooooo injury prone. Michael Monaghan maybe?
I would rather stab my own eyes out tbh.
Armit is horrible.
and was still good enough to outplay our pack a month or so back...
Aren't you meant to be a Souths fan?
Close. I'm an Eels fan with a big soft spot for his Dad's favourite Bunnies.
I've stated that repeatedly and clearly - even in a post where I was responding directly to you, if memory serves.
I probably post a touch more in the Souths forum just because it isn't as busy and I have trouble following some of the threads in here that get lengthy pretty quickly. I'm lazy in that regard.
Anyway, I usually cheer just as loudly for the Bunnies as Parra ... except for those weekends when the teams play each other. Eels are first in my heart, though.

Bugger that, I cheer against the old mans team every week, he hates bloody Parra supporters. Tigers better not win tonight, Ive been laughing for 5 years, I'll never hear the end of it.
Sadly, my old man's not with me anymore ... so cheering for the Bunnies when they aren't playing the Eels is something I do to remember and honour him.
My wife is now (since my Dad's passing) a crazy Bunnies supporter too. I'd happily rub Eels victories in her face, but I'm actually a little scared of her.
i would like parra to chase lagi setu im pretty sure he is signed with
the broncos for a few more seasons but he would add alot to our bench.
also eddie paea isnt currently signed to a contract so we could probably snatch him for about 40k-60k and thats a good signing alot of talent in him.
Yeah, Pettybourne goes well, but I think we are ok with front rowers now. Cayless is a good bench prop, but he needs to harden up.
What we need is a better hooker, better halves (I truely dont think Morts can lead us to a premiership, I hope I am wrong though), we probably need another center, a specialist center.
Iv said it a couple of times and I am going to keep on flagging his name. TIMANA TAHU!!
I belive Inu is off contract at the end of next year, perhaps we should offer him another deal that is a third of what he is getting at the moment and play him on the wing.
(1) Pettybourne is a second-rower
(2) We don't need another forward, but a centre would do the trick in your books?
(3) Inu is not the problem
Pettybourne has played front row before Im sure, I might be thinking of Manese Manakufoa (not sure on that spelling). Not sure, but one of Souths forwards go well.
Look at our 1st choice centers. Reddy and Inu. Reddy is average, he is doing the best out of any other 3/4 line player, but he is still average. Not a standard of player we should be comfortable with at center. Inu has not been effective at center since 2007 where he played a couple of games there and im sure that only one of those games he was truely damaging and that was against the Roosters. I dont want to sign any crappy center like Delaney or Darryl Millard, but a really good center like Tahu.
Oh, and I never suggested that Inu was the problem, I believe that he is not performing, especially considering the rumored amount of money he is on, just like Cayless. He is proven on the wing and not just playing outside Tahu, but that game he played there against the Broncos last year.
We need a new core of the team. New hooker, new halves and more depth on the bench.
Ah I love these late night discussions with you Eele.
