It is common workplace practice in some quarters to stand down people who are under investigation. In public office, it happened to Della Bosca and Koperberg - both exonerated. It happens in the police force. It happens to teachers. It happens in the churches, and in many other workplaces. I guess the key is PUBLIC workplaces.

Dane Tilse was never charged with sexually assaulting the women in Bathurst. The Knights still sacked him. Of course they almost certainly wouldn't have done that if it was a top player (same as any club), but the Broncos keep harping on about how tough they are on players with their code of conduct - no other club does. So unless the Broncos take action they'll look like the biggest hypocrit's ever.

If the Broncos didn't constantly beat their chests and say how tough they are, then they should be allowed to play. I've said all along Bird should be allowed to play, even continue to play if he's found guilty. But the Sharks don't constantly claim to the public how tough they are with player conduct.

to be really honest i don't think this is a huge thing. now without trying to be controversial or offensive the chick was probably a bit of a goer who was all for some action with a couple of the boys, but then probably didn't want video evidence of her ummm... lets just say behaving in such a manner in case it got out and family, employers, etc ever found out about it.

as for the toilet situation, go to any club these days and girls are always in the mens whether its for drugs, a bit of action or just cuz the line for the females is too long.
