Who else would you have put it on? ADRs reign was getting stale, Cena is injured, plus Kalistos partner being injured and him beating Del Rio the previous Smackdown made it a no-brainer.

They finally make somebody and instead of just going with it, they've got to return to the status quo because they don't know how to rehab Alberto.

Here's a suggestion, have Alberto turn on Sheamus, let him go over and start again with Del Rio. It wouldn't be the first time the company has completely botched the initial months of somebody's return/debut. Hell, Jericho was in no-man's land dealing with Curtis Hughes and Finkel before the HHH deal gave his career a real kick up the ass.

nah, I want to see Rusev in something worthwhile.
No disrespect to Taker, but he's not part of the bigtime storylines anymore. He looks like he's aged about a decade in the last 8 months.

WWE need to decide what they are doing with Rusev very quickly. If they see him as a genuine Heavyweight Champ, they should be looking to act on it soon, otherwise, he'll just be another Cesaro

So Reigns has been declared the number 1 entrant which means a superhuman performance with one of 2 outcomes

1. He wins
2. He gets screwed by HHH

There are only 2 ways I can see this being saved and made worthwhile. Either Ambrose turns on Reigns or the Rock saves Reigns setting up a program with HH at mania. Reigns can then feud with someone else.

If RAW is anything to go by Lesnar will face (destroy) Wyatt at mania after Wyatt (presumably) screws Lesnar out of the rumble. Yay....

I like reigns despite his flaws but he should not win the rumble especially from the number one spot, I have read several articles on bleacher report etc saying they may do this in order to get him over once and for all but imo it will have the opposite effect people will feel similar o that did this time last year and reject him. Triple h seems the likely winner at this stage which makes sense if they are setting up the mania match plus it gives them a credible top heel although they really need to put ownes over at mania in order to fulfil that role unless they see the Balor club in that role.

AJ Styles has officially signed with WWE, and is booked for this coming Monday's Raw and the Royal Rumble.

Luke Gallows is in completing his WWE medical testing at the moment.

Also undergoing a pre-signing medical is former ROH & TNA World Champion Austin Aries.
