May as well been Monday Night Rewind.

Just so many repeats on this show...

Dolph Ziggler vs Miz
Bo Dallas vs Jack Swagger
Rusev vs Mark Henry
Slator Gator vs Adam Rose/Bunny
AJ Lee vs Nikki Bella

And the six man tag was basically just two feuds thrown together.

The only original segments on the show was a follow-up match from Total Divas & the Authority storyline which has been really drawn out by this point.

The WWE is well and truly struggling to understand what attracts the audience to the product. Fans like to follow storylines and see things progress, not just stay stagnant and I feel like they repeat themselves far too often. Even Paul Heyman who's one of the best talkers in the history of the sport, basically just says the exact same things over and over again.

My main gripe at the moment is the 6 man tags. I f**king hate them exactly because of the way you described them above.

Just 2 feuds all fused together and it's just supposed to work.

While I am excited for Ambroses return, any feud with Rollins for me has lost the spark it had before he left. It'll take a massive match at HiaC to change my mind.

The thing with the 6-man tag/2 fued fusing tactic, is when they are not being overused, they can be epic.
If they did this just once every 2 or 3 years, you'd really pay attention to them. But now, its just like everything else it seems, watered down.

The six men tags also work when the taggers have history together and they acknowledge it. But they never do, as long as they are same alignment they are cool with whatever blood feud they had six months ago. They also need to have backstage segments to show the dynamics of the team leading to the main, but they never have backstage segments for whatever reason any more.

Yeah, I miss the days of fun/funny/exciting backstage segments.

And when there is a backstage interview/promo that is quite interesting, they go and ruin it by cutting from the segment to a shot of the crowd watching it on the big screen, then back to the interview/promo itself about 5 seconds after (sometimes more than once within the same segment even), it is so jarring!!!! ARRRRGH!!!!!

I can't believe they still do that, must have been about 2 or 3 years now they've been doing that regularly.

*goes to watch some classic Rock/Angle/Jake Roberts/Jericho/Neidhart/Piper/Austin backstage interviews*

Well Heyman's kinda stuck though. He needs a stable of quite a few wrestlers, not just 1 or 2.

Get him more airtime. He is an old school manager heel and he still makes it work bloody well. Limiting his time is just stupid

That could definitely work.

They did try that earlier with Axel, Ryback & Cesaro and it really didn't do any of them good for a variety of reasons. I believe in the case of Axel & Ryback they were merely punching bags for the babyfaces but in Cesaro's case it was meant to be the beginning of a big push but I think they struggled to push him since Paul E was still milking the streak for everything it was worth.

Maybe down the line it'll be an idea, for now they need to ride the Lesnar wave and then go from there.

I think the reason it didn't work with Cesaro/Heyman is that at that time, due to his amazing arsenal plus the swing, Cesaro was getting over big time as a face but as always when guys with a crowd wowing arsenal (Rollins as well) go heel they get them to tone down their moves and the result was a boring uninspiring character. It's a real shame because the US title might actually be interesting on Cesaro if he's directed right.

Watching NXT now..ah what a breath of fresh air after another week of trash on RAW and SMACKDOWN. Only complaint is Bayleys lame finisher. Expecting big things from Baron Corbin already. I think i read that HHH is envisioning NXT as a real WCW style competitor to Raw/Smackdown. Would be nice to imagine the old days when you never know who's going to show up from the other show. Dare i dream??

What a great job Trips is doing with NXT. It truly is a must-watch every week IMO.

A RAW which started well with the triple threat and first collection of ambrose stuff. Then it went down hill as soon as Cena was sent to leach off him and his popularity and in the end we got stuck with yet another tag match. Not sure why they go with good guys beat down bad guys beat down interchange every week.

At least it looks like they repackaging the Wyatts a bit to come back strong again. Good to see Bo get a win again too.

Come on NXT day!

I loved the crowd during the El Torito-Mini Gator match.

"This is stupid!" "This is stupid!" "This is stupid!"

Slater Gator is awesome, though - all because of Heath Slater.
