It was an 'ok' Raw tonight.
The show was built around Cena's response to The Rock which was underwhelming as he just used it to hype up their Wrestlemania clash. Awesome Truth came out and started dissing Cena before John turned the tables on them, and they broke up. I'm fine with this decision, I feel they have peaked as a tag team and they're too big for the division. If one was to turn face, I hope it's Truth as his comic timing is perfect and I think his gimmick translates better as a face.
The question is though, where does that leave Cena? There's simply not enough heels around for him to feud with.
Punk/ADR's rematch is scheduled for next week, both of them had matches where they went over. ADR disposed of Ryder fairly comfortably which personally at this stage, I'm fine with as ADR could do with the heat. Punk/Ziggler had a really solid match which was my MotN. Ziggler has been one of the most consistent performers all year and Punk can basically work with anybody. They didn't exceed expectations but it was fun for what it was.
Barrrett and Kingston in the main event had an 'ok' match but the focus seemed to be on the outside with Orton who sat next to the commentary box and had his eyes on Barrett. I like Barrett as a package but I don't think he should be feuding with the likes of Orton yet, especially when Orton needs a win.
Cody Rhodes also won his match against Santino. After the match he confronted Booker T who had been talking smack on commentary and threw water in his face.
Both Nash and Show cut promos on their respective feuds. Yawn.
Kane had a hype promo. Was actually kind of cool, but it's Kane so Yawn.
And there were some other job matches.
