Wonder how long it will last? I'd love to see it go until Mania but I feel it'll pitter out about February before going to an Orton/Cena match.

I think it'll go till at least Elimination Chamber, and maybe Mania, considering the only 2 PPVs between now and Mania are RR (both Cena and Punk will be in the Rumble) and EC (both will probably be in the chamber match), if they want a proper 1 on 1 match at a PPV between the 2 of them, it can't really happen until Mania. I see Orton fighting a returning Jericho at Mania, rather than Cena.

You never know, they could just end the feud on Raw - lame I know but this is the WWE and it isn't the first time they've done it (Steve Austin vs. Big Show 99, Shawn Michaels vs. Mr. Kennedy 08, JBL also had two feuds around that time that were really rushed in the lead up to Mania vs. Jericho and HBK respectively).

Hopefully not because Punk is easily the best heel in wrestling and they'd have an awesome feud and an awesome match but I fear creative just doesn't like the guy.

Orton/Jericho would be ace too, but no word on whether Jericho will be back in time or that when they bring him back Jericho would get his rematch. Either way, there's a lot to work with, given Jericho's initial return was to whipe out Randy.

The way I see it though, I can see Vince saying "F**k none of these guys can draw, let's just throw Orton/Cena out there and maybe make it an undisputed title match" and go from there.

I really, really, really, really, really, really hope the creative minds of the WWE see it fit that Punk vs Cena is something most would like to see. Especially if they get Punk to that manical place that was entertaining when he fueded with Rey. Let him take it to the edge minus any sleeping with dead people (we all remember that BS).

Please forget title matches involving Cena, I'd love to see Punk ripping down the Cena machine piece by piece for a few months in the lead up to WrestleMania. Punk as stated is the best heel in the business at his best, let's roll with it.

Caught the TLC PPV, loved seeing Morrison FINALLY get a push. Love it. I think he can be the one to fill the large shoes left by HBK's retirement.

On a final note, PLEASE, keep Lawler out of the ring. Do I need to add to that? Don't think so.

Actually I reckon Lawler is doing a heck of a job for a 60 year old.

His TLC match with The Miz was actually pretty good and over the past month he's really made up for 7 years of pedestrian commentry.

Really?

Each to their own. The sooner they stop rolling out these 60 y.o. plus former wrestlers, the better for everybody from where I sit. Lawler has passed his used by date as a wrestler and commentator.

I must be watching something else.

I'd say so.

Lawler is really over with the crowd, I thought it would tank too but they did a great job and Lawler's old school expertise really shone through.

For what it was, filler while Orton took a week off, I thought it was good and it didn't hurt anybody.

A little arrogant Pete?

No, I was watching what you saw for what it's worth and I think you're overstating the "fact". Again, I agree to disagree.

Arrogant? After you laughed at my opinion? Just fighting fire with fire, mate.

I'd like to know what your issue was, or was it simply you couldn't get over a 60+ year old guy being in the ring with the World champ?

:? Who knew an LOL emoticon could say so much.

No need to get the last word at every opportunity Petey. Some are easily pleased when looking at wrestling, I am not I guess. Right or wrong, that's my opinion. What next? Roll out Flair and Hogan to take on the Champ...oh wait...TNA has booked them. A 60 y.o. man doesn't belong in the wrestling ring. His time is done. Move on.

Again, for the last time, I agree to disagree.

Again, pot calling the kettle black.

So basically you couldn't get over Lawler being 60? That's alright.

And you're easily pleased, that's alright too ;-)

Fortunately, unfortunately for the rest of us, you sit apart the majority when it comes to wrestling which is why the business as a whole is as stale as last week's bread. Bring on the Lawlers! Bring on the Flairs! Bring on the Hogans! Hold back talent if only to keep these geriatrics in the spotlight "one last time".

What was that about always getting the last word in 18th? Sounds like you're just as bad as me bud.

And you're easily pleased, that's alright too ;-)

It's not a case of being easily pleased, it's called being pleasantly surprised.

Given the three top contenders were unavailable (Orton - injured, Cena - fired, HHH - injured) and the rest were involved in the KotR tournament I had no issue with a legend taking on Miz under the proviso it was the legend's first ever WWE title match (not exactly true, but believable) and in a TLC match.

The match basically showed anything can happen, the dangers and the pitfalls and you can't take your eyes off the screen for a moment. Was it revolutionary? No, but it achieved it's purpose so it's fine by me.

This doesn't mean I want to see Lawler become a regular, it just means his performance was alright by me...and well a lot of others too.

If you didn't like the concept because you hate a 60 year old competing with the world champ that's fine by me, I just happen to like good story telling, no matter the age of the combatant. To me, good enough is old enough.

The other thing from Raw this week I thought was pretty funny was how much heat Vickie and Dolph were getting. It was at the point where Vickie and Cena seemed to be laughing about it in the ring.

Oh yeah, that was a really good crowd on Monday. They got a good show too I thought, Regal/Bryan was a fun 4 minute match, wish they'd have a proper program. Ziggler/Cena was a great tv match, Ziggler really is one of the best heel workers in the biz. Even the main event was fun.

None of the storylines were really progressed, but I think that's because it's the holiday season and they had the Smackdown special to promote (first time it was airing live on USA).
