I'm a Miz fan. I'm surprised he got the title, but happy for him. The IWC really gave it to him in spades and even begged him to quit. He worked hard to get where he's at and I, for one, am happy to see a really good guy and a really hard working bloke who loves this business get the just desserts he deserves.

Agree 100%...I love the miz!

John Cena posted the following on his Twitter page:

"CeNation. Last night was tough. I am glad its over. On way to see niece. And moms bday tomorrow. Sorry i ran back in ring but i told.... Mr barrett that if he keeps taking short cuts it will come back to haunt him. Just got tix for raw in philly."

This will probably be the go till Cena is hired again and he has a feud with Barrett.

Don't get me wrong here, Hart was a good wrestler as shown in 92-94 but he didn't exactly have the best run at times. He got dragged into some really stupid feuds and then was basically made into Michaels' whipping boy in 96. His tweener run in 97 was great, good writing and good delivery but the Screw Job basically f**ked Hart's career up and apart from the Benoit match, he never found his potential in Dubbya Cee Dubbya.

.

In WCW, They never used the HITMAN proper, I mean the Hottest free agent in History and Bischoff books him as Speical Guest Ref in a below par NWO vs WCW match?, Im no Hitman fan but i have alot of respect for the guy, I did like watching his matches, Those matches against Austin were unbelieve esp that WM 13 match.

But back to Hart in WCW, Rumour had it that Bischoff wanted to bring in Hart when the NWO was formed but Hart resigned with WWF/E After a year of course as everyone knows Hart signed with WCW with McMahons blessing, After a while people like that idiot Kevin Nash who had been promted to Head Booker didnt like the Hitman booked him far away from the title picture, When the Hitman finally won the belt Vince Russo run the company so much into the ground no one really cared about the WCW title anymore.

Then before he retired they had the Hitman lead the 87th Reunion of the NWO which went no where after Scott Hall went back into rehab, The Hitman was injured via a stiff kick from Goldberg and Jarrett was injured by Jimmy Snuka.

Ahhh what a mess the WCW Hitman run was.

It was tragic that possibly the best wrestler of the time was completely wasted and his active career ended in such fashion. Complete credit to Hart for how he has turned his life around after what he went through with losing his career then, nearly his life in the motorbike accident.

This is true but bad booking or not Hart never really did anything. WCW were foolish to splash so much money Hart's way given he wasn't that big a draw and they already had guys coming through who could've filled his role with ease.

Decent Raw tonight.

Nexus turned on Barrett.

Miz vs. Orton announced for TLC.

Morrison attacked Sheamus setting up a decider between the two.

Tyson Andrews debuted (decent big man wrestler, same sort of size as Matt Morgan)

Marella and Kozlov won the tag titles.

And Cole was given the RKO.

I hope he's as good as Morgan. I'm a big Morgan fan. Good big guy wrestler IMO. And fairly charismatic, although not excellent on the mic. I wish he was still with the WWE tbh - although his going to TNA was probably the push he needed to really excel.

Been hearing a lot of criticism about the Slammy's - personally I enjoyed him. Some of the best moments weren't awarded (SSP into a RKO anyone?) but the show itself was a good go home show and I believe sorted the following...

- Got Cena back onto the roster and sorted out the Nexus mutiny angle by having him beat the s**t out of Otunga.

- Morrison/Sheamus was booked and is now a number one's contenders match - awesome. Hopefully Morrison wins.

- Triple threat IC match was booked.

- Seeds for a CM Punk feud were planted

- Edge + Christian reunion

- Miz girl!

Who will the CM Punk fued be with though? Also, how long until he is back? I'm still holding out for Punk/Bryan at Mania next year.

They're saying January.

Bryan seems like the likely candidate, although I'm unsure what he would've done to piss off Punk. Another candidate would be Orton who he never faced after receiving a punt at Unforgiven 08.

It'd be interesting to note Punk's last match.

Punk was apparently meant to feud with Bryan before he was injured, speculation is that is what he was referring to on Raw.

I personally don't see much wrong with that. Bischoff by this stage was an uber-heel, and the match was of significance to the nwo-wcw situation, and Starrcade was already packed and headlined by Sting-Hogan. It seemed logical booking so that Bret could be portrayed as a heel against corrupt executives. The problem was the farcical follow up beyond Starrcade, where he was booked like a tweener working as a lackey for Hogan and the nWo. Now THAT was truly forgettable. But the concept of creating a mega-face by standing up for WCW was a good move.

Actually his first feud with Flair was really good, after that though...

Personally I wouldn't of booked him on Starrcade at all, just had him come out and stare Sting down while Sting raises the belt in the air with his party of WCW wrestlers.

Punk's last match was the Bragging rights match I think.

I think he was talking about Cena, Cena spilled Punk's diet soda, now THAT would piss you off.
