I see zero difference between the Swagger/Colter characters and any racist/xenophobe portrayed in Hollywood. They are fictional characters who are portrayed in a negative light.
the difference would be the fact that the WWE is exposing this sort of racism/xenophobia to a less mature audience.

im not saying they CANT do it... its well within there rights to do it... because as you point out.. other mediums do it...

but IMO when your making millions of dollars by peddling John Cena t-shirts and Rey Mysterio masks to 8 year old kids you should have a moral responsibility not to expose those same kids to something that they may not be mature enough to understand.

but thats just my personal opinion...

As a personality I do too.

In the ring, he's impressed me as a babyface. Added more high-spots to his work and isn't afraid to take big bumps to win fans over.

I like Del rio as a face. He unfortunately has the wwe smily jokester syndrome, but he's still got the sneaky edge that drew me to him.

Blood, piledrivers, and ppv quality matches, oh my.

Quite a good raw, one of the best I've seen in a long time. Next week is an "old school" themed show. Will be interesting considering how old school tonight felt. Good to see they are holding off on killing Swagger, even though the angle doesn't interest me. At all. I hate politics. It doesn't yet feel personal, just a lively debate. They need to ramp it up.

Also, what the hell is Shamus doing? Coming out mocking Wade Barrett, then coming out fighting the shield? He better not be pulling double duty at mania, completely confusing.

CM Punk v John Cena is an early match of the year candidate. It's unfortunate a movie star is main eventing again, Punk and Cena have enough chemistry together if they headlined mania, it would be the best in quite a long time.

I guess this leads to Undertaker/Punk match we've been hearing about. I hope they can top the ordinary matches they had a few years back.

Punk/Taker had a great match on Smackdown to blow that feud off.

Cena/Punk was a great match, rest of the show was fairly forgettable.

The whole thing basically played as a series of punishments for Punk's 'bad attitude'. Given his new place on the card and Undertaker never failing to bring his A game to Wrestlemania, it should be a good bout. A foregone conclusion, but a good match all the same.

Given Rock/Cena wasn't a terribly great match last year, Triple H seems intent on 'getting his win back against Lesnar', and del Rio/Swagger is a bit of an unknown quality - it should be the best match on the card.

I don't know.

I'm sort of worried about it actually. Taker looks in career worse shape after coming back from two major operations and I don't know if fans will buy into any of Punk's near falls.

I have heard good things about RAW, I am looking forward to watching it.

I am unconcerned about the Punk/Taker match; Punk is good enough to carry Taker if he isn’t feeling 100%.

For me the HHH/Lesner match needs a stip, LMS or falls count anywhere would be good.

I suppose my concerns are based on his matches with The Rock which were fairly sub-par. Rock isn't as good as Taker, but he's in better shape than the Deadman and carries much more interest than him too.

Valheru - If you had a TiVo or one of those Foxtel boxes, I'd recommend just watching certain segments. This is one of those shows that would have been great if it was only an hour or so long and only featured a handful of matches. I recommend watching the opening segment, Punk promo, Miz TV segment, Cena promo & the main event.

IMO, the only guy more capable of carrying a guy than Punk is Bryan. If Taker can't woek a good to great match with Punk, it is probably time to call it a day.

A 48 year old Taker doesn't worry me, it's the fact he's coming off two major surgeries and has had barely any time to recover.

Plus the way Punk has been booked doesn't lend itself to an intriguing match.

Yeah, Punk's been focused on The Rock. I'm betting Taker returns, Punk rants about it, and that's their 'feud'.
