Can someone explain exactly what John Cena was trying to say with that whole spiel about the match with Randy as DEFINING THE FUTURE? Seemed such a random way to hype the match, also how could the match be the end of the rivalry (as him and/or the commentators mentioned) when they are officially booked in a match in a couple of weeks?

Was actually an enjoyable match, but that buildup was just weird to me.

they wanted desperately to compare the feud with the Austin v HHH feud

Yeah it's funny how all in brawls work.

Cesaro/Cena was pretty rad. It felt like both guys slowed down so they could work a quality match and Cena sucks at kicking out at 2.9 but it was an entertaining match and about the third good match in a row for Cesaro.

Are we talking about Cesaro? I'm pretty sure he came out before that, as did Christian, but they just weren't really shown clearly.

Just on Christian... how on Earth is he in the EC? He's not going to do anything... he's a mid-card. Replacement for Punk maybe?

I wouldn't be surprised if they break up at WM. I'm not sure unless there's fallout from EC.

I watched the Royal Rumble on YouTube, and laughed so hard when Batista won and the crowd booed him.

Even Del Rio coming down to the ring on crutches, only to blind side Batista with said crutches couldn't get the crowd on his side. No one gives a shit about Batista, and if the main even at WM is simply him and Orton it's going to flop. It's gotten to the point where they need to put Bryan in that match.

Batista has to be one of the most ill thought out returns ever.

after the ending of the elimination chamber they would be insane not to add Bryan in the main event and I believe that is where they are going. Have Hogan come out tomorrow and say
"brother I didn't like the way that match ended brother. so here is what I'll do brother. being the host of Wrestlemania I will add my brother Bryan to the main event Brother........ brother."

also the elimination chamber was a high quality PPV. highly recommend it.

the EC match was pretty decent. So e fun spots. The initial Kane interference with Bryan kicking out after being rko had me marking out a little thinking he was gonna pull it off

Well, it looks like we can just about go ahead and lock in DB/HHH for Mania, which leaves us with the terrible main event of Batista/Orton.

Batista/Orton will be A main event but I'd be surprised to see it as THE main event.
