I think Taker is set for one more title rein, so Batista V Undertaker V Orton.

Then he will probably have it for a few months then retire.

The plan for Taker is for him to continue for another 18mths, but in an on/off scenario, meaning he will not be wrestling every month.

when will people learn not to believe everything written on wrestling websites? i've read that the plan was for taker to be much more involved on-screen than he is now.

i'm not surprised that there are numerous contradictions from different sites.

i suppose they make money from the intellectually fragile.

Cross Brand PPV.

Only the Rumble, Mania, Summerslam and Survivor Series are the Cross Brand shows.

Yeh I knew the other 3 were, but the Survivor Series build up seemed as if it was a Raw only PPV.

I have mixed feelings if that match is to happen.

On the good note the two could have a great fued, a decent match and a possible (long shot) chance of Bret Hart making a apperence.

On the bad note it wastes such a great talent like Shawn Michaels on someone like Vinnie Mac while Shawn could have a classic against Shelton Benjamin etc.

lol, rumours are flying around that it will be HBK v Vince with Bret Hart as Special guest referee. Thatd be interesting. Theres also something floating around saying that itll be a triple threat match with Vince, HBK & Bret

Well, since everyone else is throwing in cards, here's my 'dream' Wrestlemania 22 card.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
Randy Orton (c) vs. Undertaker

WWE HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
Triple H vs. John Cena (c) vs. Edge

WORLD TAG TITLE UNIFICATION TLC MATCH
MNM (c) vs. Big Show & Kane (c) vs. The Mexicools

MONEY IN THE BANK II
Chris Benoit vs. Carlito vs. Charlie Haas vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Matt Hardy vs. Gregory Helms

FEUD
Shelton Benjamin vs. Kurt Angle

GRUDGE MATCH
Shawn Michaels vs. Vince McMahon (Guest Referee: Bret Hart)

INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE
Ric Flair (c) vs. Chris Masters

US TITLE
Booker T (c) vs. Lashley

CRUISERWEIGHT LADDER MATCH
Kid Kash (c) vs. Juventud vs. Paul London vs. Jamie Noble

What does everyone think?

1. I think the main event will provide the closure that we still haven't been given between Undertaker and Orton, and we know Undertaker will want to headline the final Wrestlemania of his career. If Batista is fit I can perhaps see him in this match.

2. Triple H to win the Royal Rumble and Edge to cash in his MITB for an interesting three way. Here's hoping that HHH or Edge get the strap.

3. I can dream, can't I? Whilst the quality of teams here isn't in the same league as the original TLC - at least The Mexicools can provide spots and MNM aren't bad either. Hell, Big Show & Kane make a mean pairing. I'd like to see MNM go over to really solidify them as the great tag team they are.

4. Not as classy as the original, but Haas, Benoit, Mysterio, and Hardy are all proven big match performers. Helms and Carlito are a little less proven, but fill it out nicely. Someone like Benoit, Mysterio, or Carlito winning it would be a good way to build them up again.

5. I'd love to see this feud, as the two can probably produce a better match than Angle vs. HBK has with the correct build.

6. The only match that we can currently say is a 'near definite', sans the referee. I think Hart being involved is unlikely, but I'd dig it. If HBK can carry Hogan to a great match, he can carry Vince.

7. I doubt Flair will still be champion, but if he is then somebody like Masters is an obvous choice of opponent for him. I'd like to see Masters win this one, giving him some credibility.

8. Eh, a filler match, but it could be good. Booker's injured at the moment, but I'd like to see him work with someone like Lashley. Could be entertaining.

9. Another filler, really. Still, the two could produce a decent match as evidenced by Armageddon.

So, what does everyone think?

Vince v HBK @ WM22

i believe this has been on the cards for some time, they were waiting to be on decent enough terms with Hart to try and get him to referee the match... im talking several years, since HBK's return...

HBK V McMahon - Special Guest Ref: Bret Hart
that is what i think they are gonna try and set up, weather Bret comes to the table or not is another matter, but its certainly a match all be it probably technically poor, it tune in to see... the build up could be great and the tension during match would be completely legit...

My Dream card:

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
Randy Orton (c) vs. Batista
Two most over legit main event smackdown superstars on the roster, Orton can work a decent match before batista can come in at the end and do his thing... Batista to go on and win this one, as with all main event Mania matches lately, the face to win

WWE HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
Triple H vs. John Cena (c) vs. Edge
HHH is still up there with the best heels in the company, and even his title reigns wernt as bad as Cenas... id dearly love to see cena drop the strap to Edge as Edge is a complete package, thou his charactor is a tad lost atm... but going on the Mania main event face theory, Cena to retain

WORLD TAG TITLE UNIFICATION TLC MATCH
MNM (c) vs. Big Show & Kane (c) vs. The Mexicools vs. WGTT
With Hass back in the frame i really hope WGTT reform, i dont think Shelton has worked quite as well as expected in the singles division, mostly due to absolute rubbish booking. But he and Hass are a great Tag team and could restore credability, Show and Kane need to drop their's as they are better then the tag division. There isnt enough talent around for 2 tag divisions so on that note, WGTT to trade to smackdown and fued with Mexicools and MNM.

MONEY IN THE BANK II
Chris Benoit vs. Carlito vs. Chris Masters vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Matt Hardy
For the most part im agreeing with CBW's Card but in this case ive drop Hass for Masters and flat out dropped Helms. Masters is starting to get a legitimate push and not nearly as irritating as he first appeared to be. Would of loved Hassan here and to be able to give him the win but alas, pathetic WWE booking crushed him too. Some big names, some bolters, plenty of big spot oppertunities, Beniot, Hardy and Rey all can do a fair spot... id have Rey win the match and go on to headline next years Mania in a triple threat match.

Interpromotional Match
Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle
Honestly, i just had nothing for these two but recognise them as too big a names to leave off the biggest card of the year... Besides if anyone can get a good match out of Taker, its Angle, plus is hasnt really been done before and the build up could be alright. Taker to win and keep the streak for someone who needs the "ending takers streak" title... angle can get by without it.

GRUDGE MATCH
Shawn Michaels vs. Vince McMahon (Guest Referee: Bret Hart)
Explained above why this match would be awesome. Technically sh*te but good none the less just for the backround surrounding all 3 men. Who should win? Who cares, just so long as both McMahon and HBK cop a sharpe shooter at the end of it.

INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE
Ric Flair (c) vs. Helms
The reason i droped Helms for Masters in the MITB is Helms will never be a legit main eventer, Simply not big enough to be credible, its takes a Rey Jr to pull that off, which as good as Helms is, he aint that good. However he is good enough and big enough to be a legitimate Intercontential champ. He is fantastic in the ring. Helms to win and hold the strap for a decent time.

US TITLE
Booker T (c) vs. Lashley
Lashley is way over now and come mania it could be a nice little stepping stone for Lashley to take a major strap for awhile before moving into the main event, ala Cena but FFS get the man a manager/mouth peice

CRUISERWEIGHT LADDER MATCH
Kid Kash (c) vs. Juventud vs. Paul London vs. Jamie Noble
As with the MITB this could be a very entertaining match, mind blowing eve, if the WWE allow the blokes in the ring to show case their abilities. However thats unlikely so the match will only be good, rather then reicking of greatness. Wouldnt mind who wins to be honest, all can hold the strap in a respectable way

WOMENS TITLE
Trish (c) V Victoria
Short match, really just to reward these two for holding the chicks division in tune, plus for a chick match, this one could be fairly entertaining, if time permitted you could even throw in a Lita in there for added entertainment, but in the end this would be an only if time permitted match

Don't forget about the possible match between Austin and Hogan.

for a 3 hour event, i recon 9 or 10 is fine, so probably drop the chicks match for that if, thats what they are gonna get going

There were nine for WrestleMania 21 so i guess there will be a similar number for 22. So that card will be alright for the Time Available.

You didn't miss any. There were 8 matches but if you include the Pipers Pit and the Hogan/Hassan/Eugene/Daivari segment it would probably last around 9-10 matches.

I seriously hope there is another money in the bank match this year, thatd be cool, they should have it as a cross brand match.

I really do hope the Tag Team division does get the rights to only one show. I hope they go with Raiders idea and have that exact same match (except I can't see a TLC and a Ladder match on the same show). But the four teams could put on a good match.
