Interesting that phoning it wasn against my useless mob at OT turned your season around. Brendan must have got the hair dryer out good and proper after that one. I would not be in the least bit surprised if you lot replaced us in the top 4. You actually play football, not keepings off.

Haha, that first sentence made no sense at all Jason! But Brendan deserves great credit for the way he's turned it around. Sure, he was part of the problem, but he was able to turn it around quick enough to stay in the top 4 race. A lot of other managers would have been short of any ideas or inspiration in the same situation. If he turned the form around a bit earlier, we'd probably be in the title race actually. Being in the title race next season is definitely achievable; as long as we keep steady form before Christmas. We always turn on fire in the second half of the season. We were the second form side in 2012/13, and the form side of last year and this year. It's become quite a hallmark. There is still work to do, but, any Liverpool fan would have rubbed their eyes if they looked into the future and saw that we took 10 points from 13 against Everton, west ham, Spurs, Saints and Man City. Incredible.

We have also been cleared by UEFA of any FFP breaches thankfully. Club look to be going into a sell to buy period which will also help. Happy days ATM!

Was always confident we'd coast through the FFP problem. A lot of people suspected that Liverpool were guilty of nothing.

We were able to scrape through by justifying losses as Stadium expansion expenditure. It was really close apparently mate, but UEFa like that its improving for us and showing signs of staying that way. We're also quite lucky to get the T.V money we did. Doesn't matter tho, we passed and getting top 4 is an absolute must to keep improving financially.

Really think we can look to trim the squad and add a little bit of quality here and there to compliment what we already have. Add the young guns we have coming through instead of buying and the club will be looking good IMO.

Yeah, that's probably why said people suspected we'd be okay, due to stadium expenditure (an exception under FFP laws I believe) and TV income.

I agree with your last sentence. I'd cut Borini and get another striker in. Don't know who that'd be, but apparently we're looking for one. Obviously, we should buy another CM, preferably box to box, to not 'replace' Gerrard, but fill his void. If our new CM can't be capable of DM too, then I think we should go for that as well. We also need a challenger to Mignolet. Who would you trim from the squad? Can't make my mind up

Oh yeah, cut Johnson of course. Ed002 just stated they will try and sell Mario...if he impresses from now on in, I don't see the logic at all.

Johnson and Stevie both going, Lucas is apparently still wanting to leave, Aspas, and Alberto will surely be sold so we can fee up some $$$ wage wise as well.

Manquillo needs to be sent back to Atleti as well, we have Flanno and Wisdom both returning from injury and loan as well.

We've got a few good young kids we should look to Integrate into the squad as well like Rossiter, Ojo, Sinclair and Jones. Ibe is doing well and shows what giving time to these kids can do as Flanno did last year.
