Let's stop talking about the use of the word 'scarce'. It may relate to Liverpool in a recent trophy context, but I'd rather discuss it in the context of what brains FSG have left after keeping BR.

That's what I meant to say, but said 'less scarce' instead

Your post says more scarce - but anyway...

How was the game Jimbo?

Game was awesome, great atmosphere in the Shed, and at the pub earlier. Hazard is even more impressive live. Eyebrows have certainly been raised at the club - it won't be another 41 years before they come back

Haff and I getting a private viewing of this on the Monday night was pretty good too...

Hazard was really impressive. I was almost front row, near the corner flag, so it was awesome to see him do his thing there with the ball about 20m away from me.

I was hoping that the big chelsea banner would it make its way to the cove, that would have been interesting.

I was going to line up before the game and get a photo, but the queue was f**king 500 m long. I was really disappointed because I would have been the first ever person in a Liverpool shirt to touch the Premier League trophy.

OK, so which one is Haff and which one is you?

Lol

In his haste to make himself look extremely stupid, it appears jimmy was far too stupid to pick up the edit that was so obviously made.

Intelligent Chelsea fans = extremely scarce :)

I would have liked to have seen more of Costa too, he was just toying with them

Terry's defence was also superb, as usual

Yeah, luckily the security guys realised what was going on and managed to nab it. The club ended up gifting it to the Sydney Supporters Club - it'll look pretty good at the FFDU 5-a-side tournament :D

I'm taking the photo. Those two guys are from the club

We can say we've been closer to that trophy that Stevie G will ever get though :D

Yeah, again, I was lucky because all of his toying with Sydney happened right in front of me, especially when he walked through the whole defence and managed a shot from a tight angle. Funny how his replacement only last 30 minutes. Mourinho absolutely slaughtered him after the match. Terry was great, but I was surprised by Azpilicueta. That Gerbasch kid absolutely tore him to shreds.

Where's that? Caringbah? Those pitches there are awesome.

Really? The guy on the right looks like a fan.

Like I said in my other post (which I edited in), I would have been the first ever guy in a Liverpool shirt to touch the trophy if I bothered lining up

When United came however, they always wore white gloves when handling it...

Yeah, RLC certainly did get a rev up. Hopefully he receives it in it's proper context. It worked on Hazard...

Dave was not his usual self too, but he was putting in the effort. Gerbasch and Antonis had a good night though. Mou was impressed

Marrickville. Liverpool usually have a couple of teams there

We weren't allowed to touch it, but we got pretty damn close!

Gerbasch seems to have a lot of potential, and he's a shire boy.

Mou's rant on RLC was funny. For a dude who's first language isn't English, he still has a clever way with its words. Seeing him in the flesh was actually quite surreal.

They must torture the Chelsea players at training, because your fitness needs to be absolutely optimal if you want to play in Mourinho's work horse system. Balotelli wouldn't last a week.

FFDA = football fans downunder?

Mou expects players to work hard, and appreciates players who put in that bit extra

That's why he and Frank got on so well

Yep

So BR is definitely staying??? Currently holidaying it up OS so haven't had any net access. I know it's a shit thing to say but I'm really going to find it hard to follow and watch us next season. The fact I read west ham were possibly interviewing Emery shows how far we have fallen in terms of the brains that run our club.

After 3 years our defence is a f**king shambles, youth players barely get a look in, we don't have any forwards you'd even feed and wasted hundreds of millions pounds yet we stick with the same snake oil salesman that's got us here.

Waiting Another 6 months only lets the rot further set in. f**king clueless!

My weekend soccer coach is the same, he thinks of himself as an Egyptian Mourinho (Chelsea fan too). He puts me at right wing and expects me to be up and down the whole flank all match (which is perfectly fine), but I can't do it anymore after half an hour. So it just makes me wonder how fit these guys are...

I've always liked Lampard. He gets the job done and doesn't seem to have an ego about him.

Here we go, more spin by the Echo on Liverpool's behalf...

It's best that you go onto Liverpool rumours and read what happened there (in the banter or others section). They can be prickly bastards though, it's often hard to get an answer out of them, especially ed002  E.g. Ed001 says, 'they've set Rodgers up to fail with dithering and indecisiveness, and are just putting off the inevitable. They haven't backed him at all, just left things the way they are'.

I asked him what exact things he's talking about, he refused to answer because the answer is apparently obvious

...and we're pushing our best players out the door....martin skrtel's just been offered a dud contract

From what I've just read CJ we seems to be wanting Skrtel to accept a more incentive based contract. Most contracts aren't agreed to first time anyway mate. Shows how shit our defence is if Skrtel is the best we have. Plays to deep, makes too many rash challenges which forces others to cover unnecessarily and is a bit too fond of league style tackle.

Cheers nick, have to check it out. Banter page is just full of Milner questions at the moment.
