Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Can't believe the way Utd imploded out there. Vidic, he doesn't usually make mistakes like that and full deserved his red. The ultimate insult was D(r)ossena scoring - wow.

I'm buzzing right now.

Liverpool 4 - 1 Manchester United.

Can't believe it. Man U absolutely broke down. In that first half you saw Torres at near full capacity, he absolutely schooled Vidic and Ferdinand at times. Can't believe it. Doggies smash Manly and Liverpool smash Manure in one night, is that even legal?

Its great for the title race, really spices things up. Still can't get over how badly Manure imploded, even i didn't think they were capable of that.

Liverpool were just too good for man utd today. i dont think they could have done anything about it. i still love the expression Sir Alex Fergerson after they were down 4-1, he was in disbelief

I dont think that could be further from the truth.

As has been said, to state the obvious United imploded. Liverpool weren't too good; United were just that bad at the back.

This game showed exactly why we are so good in CL, yet always stuggle in the title race. We don't have the depth required to put together a proper title assault over a whole season, but over two legs, we can rely on Torres and Gerrard to pull through and nearly beat anyone in the world. I'm starting to be a bit more lenient on Rafa, i mean if we had a fit Torres for the entire season, no way we drop as many points against mediocre opposition as we did.

Its not the games against the Manures and Chelski's of the world that worry me with Rafa in charge. You know he'll roll out his best available side. Its the games against the Stokes,Boro's Wigans etc as Rafa juggles a lot of his players.
Also Rafa knows that the top teams wont play 10 men behind the ball for long periods so their defences can be broken down more easily.
Vidic will cop some today but theres no way on earth you'd see Wigan or Spurs or Boro etc let Torres or Gerrard continually get left one on one with a defender.
Villa next week wont be so generous.Thats the type of game that has a draw written all over it but at least we have 7 or 8 days till that game.
Lets not kid ourselves either because that extra day we got off from playing the Champions League game was a big factor.Well its the only reason I can think of that Dossena and Lucas were running around like the energiser bunny and the Manure defence was pitiful.

I still get nervous whenever Lucas is near the ball. I cringed again last night as he went in for a few tackles.

Bang. Couldn't have said it better myself. Am trying to recall when was the last time ManUre were so soundly defeated at OT? One ManUre fan I was talking to last night was trying to remember the last time ManUre conceded a penalty shot at OT, for that matter!

F**king great match it was. Worth getting kicked out just after Dossena put the final nail in the coffin for being too rowdy for the Star City security, along with half a dozen other Reds (P.S Dirty Harry, one of them was a Scouser with his strong accent remaining. Also happens to be a season ticket holder at Anfield, turns out his uncle used to play for that mob from Goodison, can't remember his name right now). Can only imagine how much Cheers on George St must have gone off! Walking back into town with my mate, we kept wondering if it was all some wonderful dream and we'd wake up this morning, switch on FoxSports and realise that Ronaldive had actually scored a quariple to flog us 4-0!

Ah, 'tis a great day to be a Red, no matter where you are in the world. I would have given my first-born to be one of the Liverpool contingent at OT last night though! If this is the game that ultimately turns our season back around, it will be a great memory!
