Very disappointing result. I had high hopes that the girls would win the competition.

Soward the Tinkerman, Dragons have been disappointing this season and in big games have an inability to score points, last year GF only scored 6 , this game so far 6 and struggling to score anymore

Albeit it should of been 12-10 minmimm at one stage. Tonegato's no try was a try every day of the week as still had downward pressure an did not leave her arm. Super slow-mo was not reality.

Then says they were not thinking well in attack when had the ball down the oppositions end
He was right though too many individuals trying stuff on their own to score..but that has been happening for a while
Keele B may not be their best but she stiffens up contact in defence and yet was dropped
They have regressed in what was starting to show as a weakness last year..speed and energy in attack in the forwards

Maybe.. maybe he is not as good as everyone said who thought he should be Hooks assistant or even take over.
I am not sold yet one way or the other and would give him next season with 10 teams but there is no doubting his passion and loyalty, but how far does that get you.

Im not convinced on Soward as a HC yet not a fan of the tinkering of the side, still think he made wrong decisions re players and the bench last season and this season... yes he has passion etc, still learning how to coach, we have gone down that route with Nathan Brown learning on the job, i wouldn't consider him for at least 5 years, he needs experience coaching full time not in a 6 week comp, let him take on the KOE team for starters..

It has happened to us nearly every season so far. Still a way to go until the comp hits a balance of available players with some experience to all teams.

In saying that we only really lost Chapman and Bartlett from last season from the top 17 as opposed to the Broncos/Roosters who lost higher caliber of players, in hindsight we were very disappointing this season, both our nines who generally had good seasons, need to learn when to pass and when to run too many times they went for themselves when better options were available also Elsie Albert doesnt have enough stamina and gets very lazy in defence, she isn't as intimidating as she was a few seasons back as all the girls are better coached now and can handle her far easier in defence..

yeap for sure, i was more referring to season 21 to 22, also should have mentioned we lost Kody House who retired as well so we kept 14/17 should have done better...

heres what i think will happen

the knights having just won will keep the stars like boyle, upton, johnston, the southwells.

the 4 clubs coming in will drain talent away from st geoge parra and the roosters and brisbane.

the competition through spots 2-9 will be competitive

the knights will romp home if no one gets hurt

Interesting to see how many of our current squad we sign up, the signing of Raecene McGregor is interesting she is a very good at controlling a game and getting the team around the, cant see them holding onto Pearson if thats the case.
Hopefully we sign up a few from last year in Tonegato, Davis, Apps, Berry etc, with the new teams coming in, will be lots of movement with players, we really missed our chance of winning the GF when we lost to the roosters, will be harder now..
