'Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi' is this great nation's second greatest embarrassment. The first obviously being AFL.
You're wrong on both counts.

AFL is a great sport. And as the only Made in Australia sport, something to be proud of.

Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi is also something to be proud of. It's simple, it's iconic, no matter where you are around the world when you hear it you know an Aussie is around.

Greatest chant ever.

Waltzing Matilda, I still Australia home and Land Down Under is iconic. Why? People all around the world recognize it, most like it and it's a strong part reflection. When was the last time someone said "Oh, Australia is awesome for having "Oi Oi Oi" chant.

I said it's the greatest chant. Not the greatest song ever.

It's ridiculous to compare a chant with 2 different words in it to entire songs.

I like it because it's a good simple war cry. Music to my ears when I'm watching a sporting event and a section of the crowd breaks it out to support our competitors.

I can understand why some people don't like it. But I do. And I'm proud of it.

I assume you like it because it's simple, and you're a simpleton....I don't share the disdain some people seem to have for it, I just think it's pointless and silly...

It is f**king embarrassing.

As has been said listen to some of the pommie chants.

Aussie Aussie Aussie oi oi oi is so simple an inbred must have invented it by scrawling the lyrics in their own faeces on a wall.

True, I was talking in-terms of more icnonic stances though. I won't attack you for your opinion. I'm not like that and I respect it. Some like it, some don't. I'm not going to be one of those that attack and start with the abuse.

Me personally, I've heard better. But I will admit. It's a part of Aussie culture and it's one things I hear during Australia day, ANZAC day, cricket games.etc and while I don't like it; It makes me feel good that people unite to cheer it (Even if I don't like it).

So a qlder started it.

That explains it all.

Personally my favourite chant was "harrigans a wanker" at the 2000 ANZAC test.

The fact that I love Indian food, Thai curries, and Mexican food, yet all three of these cuisines give me diarrhea.

Sounds like a day to bust out a poker set or something, love days like that (provided they're not too frequent and the company is good)

Have you tried the raspberry one?
of course, was actually eating strawberry last night. I generally dislike raspberry flavour, but make an exception for licorice, in which raspberry flavour is freaking awesome, especially when the licorice is really soft =P~. Despite the fact that licorice is high in sugar, it is good for me, but it is really addictive so that might make the sugar a bigger issue
