his defence in that game at campbelltown (the qualifier) was outstanding - especially in the dying seconds when the dogs were attakcing our line.

Unfortunatley i don't get to see the young guys living in Brissy, But Mannah and Wright impressed me heaps in the flegg GF. And the N Hindy lookalike looks like a goer as well.

My Top 3

Brod Wright (suprise, suprise) BUT.. Im gunna go out on a limb here and say, He will not play First Grade at Parra. He has signed on for 2 more years I just think there will be other players that hold him out, even if Caylo retires by the end of that 2 years (scary thought). I think another club will snap Brod up quick smart as there was a bit of interest in him before he chose to re-sign with us. But for mine he does come from the same Caylo/Cordoba mould. Altho Oake is more suited to Lock, I could see Brod leap frog him to First Grade if it were to happen.

Tim Mannah - He is the goods. And a real humble kid too. I think he is another churchy so hopefully that helps keep him grounded. He doesnt seem to get caught up in all the off field activities that the other boys do. Just puts in the hard work and reaps the rewards.

Marty Lewis - TBH, last year I thought he struggled a bit. But this year he has just come on in leaps and bounds. His selection in the NSW and Australian squad just proves that.

Lower, lower grades. Well there are just too many to chose from as we are spoilt with talent. Which is extremely unfortunate as I know we wont be able to keep em all. Shannon King (I think is name is) is one I was watching.

Dave Baumann (aka Kidnapper). A real work horse. Will never be a flashy player, but will get the job done week in week out. Reckon he is more like Ian Hindy player wise, Nath looks wise.

I know the thread is for JF players and below but I want to add that Weller and Junior should be in the top 17 next season and depending on their performances I would be starting the game with Cayless and Paulo up front.

I would be surprised if both Weller and Junior won't be in the 17 by round 1 next season, the coaching staff has done an excellent job with these 2 this year and have not pushed them to early, I really believe that they've specifically primed both of them to have a massive year next year.

Marty Lewis goes well. That ball he threw for one of the tries in the Grand Final was an absolute pearler. I knew he was a very good defender and runs the ball well but didn't think he could pass like that.

I know Tmmy Mannah, Brod Wright and Tony Williams got all the wraps this year but we would not of got as far as we did if it wasn't for Marty, he would be the closest thing to a Hindy clone that I've seen since the great man made his fg debur 10 years ago.

In the same vein as the other topic - who's your pick to be the "next big thing" in our lower grades now?

Try and go below Premier League - its no fun to just say "Kris Keating"

I call a revolt against this post and declare Kris Keating a future fg captain..

Viva Le Keating!!!!!:D

I don't...which is what my previous comment reiterated...but it was deleted.. DESPITE it being completely relevant to this thread.

what happened too "While I may not agree with your opinion, I will defend your right to express it". I apparently now have my own personal censor.

without junior players and leagues, the game wuld be dead. Paris Hilton prolly has more of a brain than you do.

I have a wrap on Mase Lalu-Togagae....every time I've seen him he's run powerfully and been very good in general. Even though he is leaving I have a wrap on Iwi Hauraki as well.

Guys that are staying are; Tony Williams, Keatings, Baiteri, Tim Mannah, Trent Hodkinson, Brod Wright, Marty Lewis...

Mase intrigues me, he's a wonderful runner of the football and glides across the park like Justin Hodges, but wasn't able to nail a spot in the first 13, I have a feeling that his discipline let him down.
