I think the Sharks are set to play their 'boring' heavily defence-oriented football that worked well for them in 2008. If they have minimal disruptions through injuries, I reckon they may surprise a few people.

imo, the Roosters are looking ordinary.

also, Luke Burt sucks, I wouldn't put him in the run on side next year at all.

If Lima/Cayless signs with Tigers, there's no chance in hell that Gibbs will start.

gibbs is a defensive prop,we need him to start
plus Lima and Cayles will be a awesome combo to bring off the bench
the tigers will lose nothing

but i got a feeling none of them will be with us
Cayless probley wont be fit enough and tuqiri will probley head of to union
and i reckon lima will go where he will get the most money and the club will not offer him much at all

Not being a prick but that side is bloody terrible!

That backline is worse then dreadful, The Bulls had a much better backline in the NSW cup grandfinal!

that bulls backline was the dogs 08 spoon team, so no, its not better then ours, we didnt win the spoon, the dogs 08 team did

have you seen the panthers backline? worse then ours...any team that has simmons and purtell in the backline with clown shoes at the back is automatically worst in the league

id suppose you'd think that if you dont pay much attention to the sharks but that backline is young and talented, the more games they play, the better they will get..

much better then what we had in 08:

kearney
taulapapa
simmons
pomeroy
covell

now that was rubbish [except for covell, he is awesome]

Have quite a few family members/work mates and friends who are Sharks fans so I sort of root for them a tad. I guess it is a bagging but deadset, if I was a sharks fan I'd be devastated over that team.

no i am not devastated, im actually quietly excited about watching the young guys run round, they will be better for the run after the crap they went through this year..

Sharks for the 'on paper spoon' next year, their side looks awful especially the backline. Luke Douglas is their only hope.

good, call us a spoon team because you know that never translates into on field..as shown by canberra and the tigers

Bit rich Cronulla calling another club 'scum'

says the person who supports a team with a star player up on sexual assault charges and another star who punches a sponsor

Because he was carrying an injury. Gibbs isn't in Lima's league as far as props go. Lima would offer more no matter where you put him

That brings me to my next point kids... dont do crack.

I had to laugh at that too, although the Roosters have already tried Anasta at fullback and Minichiello at 6 so it wouldn't be much worse. They should puy Nate Myles at hooker next and Ben Jones in the front row. Seeing as he already has James Aubusson in the backrow

Just to deceive the opposition.

not saying gibbs is in hes league, though lima defense isnt as good as Gibbs
i guess it depends,i thought gibbs had a great year this year,i think sheens style of play hurt him a lot and i reckon he will improve with folkes helping him out

Lima is still pretty solid defensively, moreso than his teammate Adam Blair and he is one of the best go forward men in the game and can play long minutes if needed.

He is the type of guy the Tigers need, a good big man that rolls his sleeves up and gets you over the advantage line, apart from Galloway you didn't really have that and you definitely missed him while he was injured.

Cayless or Lima would suit that role well.

LOL

Jennings has more talent than your 1-5 put together.

Coote is a better Fullback than you could ever dream for

and Gordon sh*ts on either of your wingers.

But keep dreaming butt plug.

Paccio’s only a pretend Dragons fan, so here’s another perspective...

1. Boyd
2. Morris
3. Nightingale
4. Cooper
5. Lett
6. Soward
7. Hornby
8. Weyman
9. Young
10. Hunt
11. Scott
12. Creagh
13. Smith

Greenfield
Prior
Costigan
Fien/Henry

Trent Merrin
Jarrod Saffy
Jon Green
Peni Tagive
Nick Emmett
Alex Ranieri
Jake Marketo
Joe Vickery
Junior Paulo

Nothing official from Dell yet but it’s almost certain he’ll retire

My team is better. You call me a "pretend" fan- yet you put Young in hooker where he clearly sucks instead of second row where he would be much better suited. You also put Boyd at FB where he's been OK but not great. IMO he should be at wing if we're gonna see the best of him.

Word on other forums is Smith is thinking of playing Carney as a Gidley style fullback...

personally I think the idea has merit...
Carney is a completely different sort of player to Anasta. Anasta failing at fb is irrelevant. We now have 2 fantastic five-eighths.

Carney could arguably play centre or fullback.
Anasta could arguably play lock or centre.
Imo 1 Carney 6 Anasta could be the best combination, taking other players positions into account.

Where would you put James Aubusson, out of interest? Hooker and half are taken...his best strength, imo, is that he is a tackling machine. I'm hoping for him to play a Chris Flannery style role fore us.

anyway...we'll see whos a crackhead come March :D

1. Hayne
2. Inu/Reddy/Burt
4. Tahu
3. Reddy/Inu
5. Grothe/Reddy/Burt (we dont really know whats going on with our backline ATM)
6. Kris Keating/Daniel Mortimer
7. Daniel Mortimer/Kris Keating/Jeff Robson (dont really know whats happening with the halves either)
8. Cayless/Poore
9. M.Keating
10. Moi Moi/Poore (same with the forwards)
11. Hindmarsh
12. B.Smith
13. Mateo

14. Kingston(maybe)/A.Mitchell/T.Humble/Burt/Reddy/Grothe/Inu (we gots no idea)
15. Shackleton
16. T.Mannah
17. Poore/Moi Moi/Cayless(pfft?)

Yeah we dont have much of an idea whats going on. We apparently wont lose any player thats contracted if they want to stay and thats from Ossie. We have been hearing Burt is leaving for the Titans, now its the Warriors, before it was HullFC, he wont go anywhere. Inu and Mateo were linked to the Bulldogs, they have both publically come out and said no way. Grothe is linked to everywhere but a NRL club, I think if anyone is to leave its him, but he himself has said he hasnt had any real offers from anywhere.

So yeah, we got no idea. We have alot of selection problems. Selection problems other clubs would kill for.

jennings wont be in your backline for long..

i was talking about sammut [clown shoes] at fullback not coote

gordon only sh*ts on covell because gordon can run, if covell had speed...gordon who? and gordon has nothing on ferguson except having played more NRL games

Shows how much you know he's about to sign a 4 year extension toolbox.

Coote is our fullback, only reason Sammut was there was because Coote was injured.

PLEASE...Covell and Gordon. Gordon most efficient kicker in the comp as well as being extremely quick and safe, along with a great finisher.

Ferguson after 2 games...more than Gordon..deadset dreaming.

Saw Stuart at the gym on Sunday morning, maybe he should suit up at halfback because you got no chance with the halves you have atm.

Collis/Covell...LOL Slowest pairing in the comp.
