Hardly. He has great technique.

Anybody can be a technically good singer if trained by the right people, doesn't make them a great vocalist, doesn't make their vocalist an art.

The vocals are boring, the lyrics aren't creative or clever.

What have the lyrics got to do with LaBrie?

I'm just saying the whole vocal and lyric aspect of Dream Theatre is unnecessary and brings down their songs.

I don't understand why they don't just stick t instrumentals.

Whilst lyrically they're certainly not Pink Floyd like, but they're not that bad. Plenty worse out there.
In my mind Labrie is one of the better singers, I certainly don't get the hate on his vocals.

Actually I would suggest that Metropolis Pt 2 is one of the great concept albums.
