Dugan to fullback. Not playing outstanding footy at the Dragons but no one is. You pick your best players for origin.
He has played fullback before at Suncorp as well and handled it fine in a team with no go forward. He would be my first choice followed by Gordon.

1. Dugan
2. B. Morris
3. Jennings
4. J. Morris
5. Ferguson

That is still a very strong 1-5

I'll admit I haven't watched much of Gords this year. How has he been travelling? Ready to step up, etc etc?

Brett Stewart might be back for SOO2. Toovey said it might be a few weeks. It might not too.

You would imagine Glen would be ready by then though. Where would he go though? I think he is carrying too many kg's atm. I'm sure he is working hard on it though.

It is a shame about Hayne. Not normally a big fan, but disappointed he has gone down again. He is a good player, it is just his attitude normally I don't like. I hope he makes a quick recovery. The Eels and the Blues need him badly.

Gordon has been playing solid without playing great, has had some good moments though however. He has played origin before and handled it well.

Personally think Dugan would be better

Last year I was of the opinion that Dugan looked a little flustered under the high-ball. Could be wrong and doesn't seem anyone else seems to think so, but that was my feeling watching him.

If Hayne is out I'd rather Gordon, just because I view him as safer.

But if Dugan does get picked I'm sure he'll go sick and make me look like a first class moron... wouldn't be the first time lmao

Dugan never looks comfortable under the high ball but he mostly caught them. He just looks a bit unco with everything he does.

Great news for the Blues.

Hayne was positively bound to disappoint after a strong showing --- he always does.

Except Hayne has played series, after series, after series without a bad game to his name. Even most of the biggest Hayne haters going around can admit he never let's NSW down.
