I'd say the opposite, I think Lee will make the ODI team again but i suspect Clark will not get picked again even if he dominated the shield post injury

Agree, he'll probably end up like Gillespie. Continues performing in Shield but his drop in pace means the selectors will move on.

Test- Watson (surprisingly but he has been our best quick in recent time)

ODI's- No idea, probably McKay on the basis of more extended form than Harris.

T20- Tait

Hilarious... I guess you can't swallow your pride after basically saying Bollinger wasn't good enough to make the team.

Tests- Bollinger for sure, Johnson has his days but Bollinger is so consistent.
ODI- Lee would still be our best if fit, I thought Bracken was starting to struggle a bit before he got injured.
T20- Lee, and Tait.

Test - Bollinger, above and beyond.
ODI - Hard to say, on recent stats there's Harris, however it's a close one. Bollinger again maybe? Bracken would be close if he got another run.
T20 - McGrath - He still showed that he's the best!!

Clark won't be back. He's pretty much realised the fact and last I heard has gone back to school?

Studying Law. There was an interview with him in a recent Sydney Uni mag, but I didn't read all of if.

A bit harsh on calling Doug mediocre. Find of the summer for sure and his bowling in Adelaide very high quality, similar to Mitch in S Africa.

Pretty much sums up world cricket.

pretty much... of the pace bowlers, Steyn, Bond and perhaps Asif are way ahead...

Roach and Aamer hugely promising, Bollinger has been effective against two of the worst teams in test cricket, not sure exactly why people would be lauding him to this extent, to be blunt Pakistan and the Windies are pretty lame (par with NZ), and Aust didn't win that well...

Asif is just above average. Really the best two are Steyn and Johnson at their best. They are light years above the rest in terms of what they can produce at their best. Bond is retired JJ.

Had to laugh when i think it was Lawry said that this current bowling attack is the best Aus have had ( Bollinger, Johnson, McKay etc). I really hope Lee and Braken find form and come back into the t20 and ODI sides. They are world class at full fitness

Bollinger got a heap of wickets in India againt a team with some pretty ordinary batsmen by the name of Sehwag, Gambhir, Tendulkar, Dhoni, Yuvraj, etc

Asif's record suggests otherwise...

Johnson... hmmmm

Bond has only retired from tests... still playing other forms

Agreed, is it any wonder why so many batsman are averaging over 50 these days? Plus the roads called pitches don't help.

At this stage I'd be ranking our quicks like this:

Tests:
1. D. Bollinger
2. M. Johnson
3. B. Hilfenhaus
4. R. Harris
5. P. Siddle
6. C. McKay
7. B. Cutting

ODIs:
1. D. Bollinger
2. R. Harris
3. C. McKay
4. M. Johnson
5. D. Nannes
6. N. Bracken

That is because you see someone bowling well by the figures they present to you whereas Bollinger who was bowling 145kph controlled inswingers to the right handers you can tell straight away without even looking at the batsman that he is bowling a world class style right there. Any batting side would have struggled with that opening spell he delivered.

And Australia did beat Pakistan twice by an innings and the third time the bowlers defended a small total successfully, that is winning pretty well to me, won better than when India beat Bangladesh.
