I’m gunna throw a random one up. Victor Radley. Before the Roosters Lynch mob comes at me with torches and pitch forms Again certainly not a bad player, but I don’t think he’s anywhere near Origin like some in the media say. Sure he can pull off a big hit but he does nothing with the ball. Last week he played 75 mins and made 34meters. Cameron Murray is a considerably better player IMO

Aaron Woods- pea heart with a shit attitude. Hopefully Cronulla's is the only sky blue jersey he ever wears again.

Carl Webb- created an Origin career off one game, and created this myth of being a hard man off one tackle on a tiring NSW forward.

Braith Anasta- he was a naturally gifted footballer, but a pea heart with zero impact at rep level. I never understood the endless commentator wankfest over him?

Jamal Idris- I'd love to have seen an alternate universe where he had a short back and sides. His attitude was shit. If it wasn't for the hair or the "world's biggest human" tag, he'd be one of those players you'd vagely remember, and have to be reminded he played for NSW.

Darius Boyd- For all the hype about him, you'd expect a player teams could rely on to get them out of a tough situation. Instead he's happy to show himself in a team firing on all cylinders, but he goes into hiding when the time comes to roll the sleeves up and show some ticker.

Coach:

Craig Bellamy- Let's see him work wonders without a Storm team chock-full of superstars? Sure he improves a lot of the secondary players who come to Melbourne, but I'm not yet convinced he's the supercoach people make him out to be. Regardless of who Qld ran out, his 3 year tenure as NSW coach highlighted that without Cronk, Slater or Smith there to polish it, all he does is coach teams to play grubby and uninspiring football. He's the Tim Sheens of our times.

If Craig Bellamy is doing one thing right, it is that he can yell and be a psychopath to his players, and they still buy in to what he is saying. Many other coaches around the league try to discipline players or question their performances, and that player either wants the coach sacked or is looking for a new home.

I don't know if players buy into Bellamy (in spite of his psychopath tendencies) because he can point to all his success, so they just accept his yelling. Or whether there is a lighter and jovial side to him where he builds trust in players so they don't take his mean side the wrong way.

The Cordner hate just astounds me. A truly outstanding player and leader. Captain of a premiership winning team, series winning origin captain and now Australia's test captain alongside so many great names.

Weird

Cordner did not look himself for a while but that was more due to injuries that he stubbornly played with.

On his day, he is a terrific player. I am still not necessarily sold on him being a captain, but then again, he just won origin and a premiership, so he must be doing something right, and what would I know.
