I have been pushing that barrow for a season or more.Lomax to lock - last chance - he is too easy to defend at centre & needs game involvement to shine. Has the propensity to do something "special" due to limited opportunity out wide.
In my opinion, Lomax has many years left in him as a center. His problems are all to do with attitude right now and so, my suggestion is to appoint Matt Cooper as his mentor/coach.Zac is becoming an enigma. He has talent, I have no doubt about that, but drops his lollies at the slightest misfortune in a game.
IMO only, his days as a centre are quickly diminishing and a trip into the forwards, particularly the edge, will be his destiny, mirroring somewhat Ben Creagh. I think the sooner this happens the better. He's a good defender, and edge is a position we are suffering in missed tackles, but it would mean a transition from the right to the left which may take some getting used to, and I absolutely wouldn't be shifting Sua.
On the evidence of the coach ignoring bad form in making changes , goal kicking has nothing to do with Zac staying in firsts.A move to the forwards is what I would like to see
He is not fast enough or elusive enough to play centre
His goal kicking has kept him in the side this season.
Yes - how in Hell do we have only one recognised goal-kicker in our NRL roster.Tough to drop your only goal kicker
don't make comments if you don't know the full picture. Bud can goal kick and did throughout juniors, so too can bird at a pinchYes - how in Hell do we have only one recognised goal-kicker in our NRL roster.
It beggars belief.
So you want to go into games relying on the boot of Jack Bird. Would he be a walk-up kicker at any other club.don't make comments if you don't know the full picture. Bud can goal kick and did throughout juniors, so too can bird at a pinch
I think its on the wing...you cant flick pass to the sideline.......or hang on..i think zac's future is in the forwards
Every other NRL coach would drop him....except block head HookOn the evidence of the coach ignoring bad form in making changes , goal kicking has nothing to do with Zac staying in firsts.
We have absolutely no shape in attack you can’t blame Zac for that, he rarely gets the ball with any room to move. Sure he loves the risky flick pass but that’s just because he’s trying to make things happen.
We have much deeper problems than Zac Lomax
