I would love to have Brown back but not sure about a 5 year contract, look at the Titans.
Maybe offer him 3 years on really good money.

Why would we want a sacked reject coach? If Price failed with us and other coaches failed elsewhere what is the difference?

There's some merit in that. While there's many reasons a coach/team fails I'd prefer someone successful. As a coach Mary has had his success albeit at a local level, 3 premierships in a row is reasonable compared to the super coaches in this forum

If you've read my posts I've stated Price had done well in lower grades and you can't blame the board for blooding him as the signs were there. As we all know he was assistant to the all time best coach that ever walked the earth but Bennett did have pretty much the SOO & Australian side to coach at the Bronco's. It was also coincidence that Brown had assembled a team that was good enough to win a premiership as Hook has done. No Doubt Bennett knows how to win with the right cattle but the same can be said about Sheens or anyone else who has a team like that.

I'd be content if we signed Brown as I would if we signed Mary. Outside of them people are just throwing up names and rolling the dice anyway without any research......and they think the board is #ucked lol

There is something really reassuring as a straight shooter, and I think the squad is really responding to that. As a team. That is what I have seen over his tenure so far, the boys are playing for each other, with aggression. Every time they score, the celebrations are more tight knit. Whether he is the coach of not, he has only had a positive effect on the group he has got. So credit where it is due.

What is with so many of our fans down playing our wins by saying we only played a understrength team? Fmd....all teams have players missing at any time throughout the season. A win is still 2 points, regardless of who is injured from the opposition. Why do you think clubs have a squad of 25 first grade players? All our wins have been against first grade players.

Would you rather be like Roosters and lose to an understrength team, like they did against Newcastle on Friday night?

So what needs to happen to get your support??

We win and some want to pick on the opposition being understrength, we lose and the haters are out.

I'm one of many who don't support Mary as coach for the dragons, but who else is there? He is doing a good job so far and way better than we have been in the last 2.5 years so maybe just maybe, he is the answe for now.

Let's see a full year under his coaching before we judge. Could be a blessing and could turn out to be a great coach but could also be a disaster.

We should be worrying more about our management of the club that couldn't sign a coach when we needed one, and not worrying about an interm coach who is doing an ok job.
