Well that's a shit of a way to end the day.

The Night Watchman is a terrible idea. If you're a good enough bat you should be able to see off 3 or 4 overs.

night watchman is a terrible idea and is a sign that they aren't confident in Haddin's ability against the new ball as a batsman, in which case they need to drop him as there are better options available

I think we're in a good position, should be able to get to 400 tomorrow and with our bowlers I would expect us to be able to bowl India out for less than 400

Haddin is just an ordinary player who had a purple patch. Never has convinced me otherwise. It is just that Whiteman isn't ready, and Neville would be no better than Haddin.

Biggest let down for me today was Rogers and Sunshine

We bag Maxwell for stupid shots, but these two know better and got out to stupid shots,. Balls they should have either let go or hit for boundaries, it was really that simple.

You're a f**kwit

Still believe Watson is a great too? FFS

Pretty even day, big toss to win, Aust still ahead - playing Clarke was a risk...

Haddin always struggles in situations like this because he always looks to play very straight. The second new ball was nibbling around a bit and light was fading.

Still our best by a light year.

I couldn't believe the night watchman being sent in,even more unbelieveable when you consider the bowling attack was tired at the end of the day,no demons in the wicket and with brillant sunshine a plenty....it sure did back fire.Hadds must of been
fatigued for not going out and facing the 2nd new ball after sitting in the sheds for most of first days play of this test series.
