Walt seems to think that Weirwoods are like video cameras with memory storage, meaning they can only capture and record what is directly within the 'line of sight' of a Weirwood...I don't think that's how Weirwood magic works?
Besides, a Tower of Joy flashback is completely daft without showing what happens inside the tower, and who came back out of it. They are showing Tower of Joy obviously because it is significant to the storyline moving forward, and it's what happens after the fight that gives it its significance. I'm pretty convinced that it will be Bran that tells the story and not Howland Reed.
