That interpretation of the rule is legit dangerous and inconsistent with the kids gloves that kickers are afforded now.

Nrl refereeing is a joke
Refereeing is a joke because they made a decision that is correct according to the laws of the game?

CNK was offside for the charge down, but meh. We don’t deserve to be in contention for finals footy anyway.

It’s never been a penalty. He did not tackle a player in the air and he didn’t lift him.

Weak coward Reuben Garrick shouldn’t try to milk a penalty next time.
Not a penalty, but it f**ken hurt him. He could barely run after. No need to be toxic. Enjoy the finals, this Manly fan is backing the Warriors.

Every ball carrier’s legs would be ‘attacked’ if he took a flying leap before being tackled

Numbnuts
There’s a difference between jumping when running the ball and being in a defenceless position catching a ball (not from a pass) well above your head, and you know that, grow up lad.

Well no… he didn’t need to jump in the air to catch that ball… he chose to do that… as such he isn’t treated the same as a player in the air taking the kick on the full…

It seriously shows how f**ked up the officiating has made the game that people can’t see an obvious one like that…

Oh get f**ked lol… if that was on BYC or some other Canberra muppet you’d be ducking SCREAMING you hypocrite!!

Regardless of *that* call, whichever way you think it was contentious.

How good would it be to see a game not hinge on a dodgy call?? Or just to have a chat about how it was a fairly good game of footy for once?? Yet here we are, as a group, taking about yet another shit call from the shit referees…
