True, Gilbert/Hamiso are big outs.

I think the other part is a pretty long bow to draw.
Long bows are all we can draw about Galvin atm

Hammer and Crichton cancel each other out

Really the only team this weekend hugely disadvantaged by Origin is Penrith, others, including us, is origin plus suspensions

Roosters have a few out - Crichton, Watson, Collins, Toia, Leniu, while the Sharks don't have a single Origin player (I think)

And I tipped them. A brain-dead move. All my Dolphins glory to be wasted.
Change it!
Roosters have been completely stitched up, plenty in there, and 1 of the 3 teams in the comp which have 0 byes before origin games, while 7 clubs have 2
Yeah, I heard Levels talking about how the draw is done by some Canadian draw 'experts' with their algorhythm.

Surely someone looks at that, says nah that's not right, and changes it. I've heard people say 'the best teams always win, so the draw does its job' but how do you know a derailing of a season through the Origin period doesn't allow a team to build momentum and confidence?

I'd be spitting if I was a Roosters fan. They may well win, they still have a decent side. But if they don't, coming off such a good performance last week that wasn't rewarded, it's hard to take.

Roosters fans are always spitting, must be hard when everything endlessly conspires against them …. It’s tough

Just had a closer look at the draw…

The rounds most impacted by Origin are 12, 15 and 18 when Origin players are unavailable.
All teams except for the Dogs, Manly and Roosters have at least 1 bye during these rounds. Some even have 2, including us.

The next most painful rounds are 13, 16 and 19 when Origin players have to back up (if they do).
The Dogs and Manly each have 2 byes during those rounds.

Together with Melb and Penrith, the Roosters have the most players involved (5) - but they are the only team without a single bye during the 6 rounds impacted by Origin. And after the Sharks this weekend, they have the Raiders next week.

Tough tough stretch...

Those retro-inspired Tooheys ads are embarrassing. Young people just don't drink piss like they did in the past.

They'd be better of with ...I feel like a bubble tea...

No rhythm coming from Manly. I'm quoting Gould. Plenty of time to find it, though. Seibold looks worried but.

Parra go in after a Manly Hopoate no try. 28-10, Eels. I'm calling it. It's an Eels upset. Manly are just stuck in second gear.

...and Jazz just confirms it with a dumb penalty. 30-10, more than three converted tries. Seibold just looks depressed now.

Game over, 30-10, Eels it stays.

This is absolute trash, not bothering with any more of it

Have absolutely stuff all interest while Seibold is the coach and he picks Lodge, who looks like he has spent the past 8 months going through drive thrus 3 times a day
