This is absolute trash, not bothering with any more of it

Have absolutely stuff all interest while Seibold is the coach and he picks Lodge, who looks like he has spent the past 8 months going through drive thrus 3 times a day.

If you've packed on a few there's nowhere to hide in a predominantly all white strip.

It brings back memories of club cricket!

I don’t see Burton moving from 6… but I’ve not been right about much lately

Does anyone think 1. Burton 6. Galvin 7.Sexton is better than 1. Tracey 6. Burton 7. Sexton/Woods?

Not so sure. Burton has literally never played FB at NRL level: https://www.rugbyleagueproject.org/players/matt-burton/positions.html
Ah I did wonder about that, if he’d played any fb.

Seems to have most of the tools needed, especially as a link player off shape.

Only unknowns are how he is under a highball and organising a defensive line. Would back him to figure it out though.

But he’s a better half than the other two who are inexperienced and unproven?

Great for intimidation value if you’ve got a fit team but not great if you’ve got a few tubbies in the side!

alas, me in my warriors retro strip is the latter….

18-0, Newcastle! 12 mins gone in Bathurst.

An early sensation...I reckon it's goodbye to Penrith's finals hopes if they drop this one.

...24-0 now. What's not to love?
...24-6, Penrith with a sniff?...25-6, the Knights pull the field-goal trigger, smart play.

Five mins left...25-6, Knights. Final.

Tremendous crowd at Bathurst, as usual. They have a 12,000 capacity and always turn people away.

It's a round of thrashings, to the underdogs. Even tonight at Mt Smart.

I was going to say I hope the trend runs right to the end of the round, but have just recalled the Warriors were made favourites.

...and in Gosford the script continues, the Chooks race out to 8-0...now 14-0!

Mulitalo in the bin for a shoulder charge on Marky. 20-6... Halftime.
...Chooks first to score in the second stanza, Marky goes in, 26-6, half an hour left. The energy of the Roosters makes it a win from here...

Xavier Va'a scores with his second touch in first grade, 32-6, still 24 mins to go. Put fifty on them!

Tedesco nails the win after a bit of a Sharks comeback, 38-16.
...Dom Young goes in for one more!, 42-16, Roosters. Final.
