Please...tell us all which game you refer to!
Hodges is predictable....huh....so is gasnier with his wanker "Shimmy shimmy whoosh"
Doesnt mean you can stop the predictable.
Hodges > Sauce boy

Because of course Gasnier can't beat players with speed/strength as well

With a degree of certainty, I'm saying if you put a list of the best centres Gould has ever seen before his eyes, he would be forced to admit that Gasnier is NOT the best he's seen.

I'm suggesting agenda.

Smoke that, Jim Bob. :p

Haha..keep your brokeback tendencies to yourself pal!

Seriously though. What possible agenda could there be from stating he's the best centre he's seen. Get him in the Aussie team? No, he was already there. S.O.O? No, he was always a shoe in. Ahhh.... play for the Roosters. Has to be. Your on to it scoop! Great spider sense! You paranoid f**k!

Your friends are calling. They want the communual brain cell back!

im not sure if he is the best ive seen, but he is certainly one of the best ive seen. im not sure why there are so many anti-gasnier posters out there?

My problem with him is his character, flighty, erratic, inconsistent. I think he's a terrific player, one of the most talented centers I've seen, at least in attack.

I just can't cop this "Let's stick together and win premierships" talk while he holds his club to ransom every few years, ensuring they lose valuable support acts. A lot like Wee Willie in that regard.

Gasnier can beat a weak defend one on one pretty easily but he hardly makes breaks in the middle of the field.....i know i know hes plays in the centres but great backs always come looking for the ball in the middle of the field and can actually make a break.

Dont get me wrong, good player. Doesnt have that many weaknesses i guess but hes not a great player.

Off the top of my head... the try against the Dogs in 06 he broke through the middle and beat five defenders on the way to the line. Last year against Parra broke through the middle drew the fullback and Rangi Chase scored. On the weekend jinked through the middle before passing to Hornby who went through.

From Today's column:

http://www.leaguehq.com.au/news/new...to-part-company/2008/05/17/1210765250992.html

"Their (Cowboys) management is probably aware such a decision (sacking Murray) would attract stinging criticism from sections of the media who have been staunch Murray supporters over the years.

However, they should never underestimate the intelligence of the public, who really do see through these juvenile campaigns.

Gee, if I worried about what was said in the Daily Astonisher, I'd never say or write a thing! I can assure you that will never happen."

Heh.

Gus is entitled to his opinion. And he may be right.

Meninga was only hot 3 years either side of his broken arm. By 94 he was way past it. Mary Mcgregor owned him in origin that year. Meninga was 34. Cronin at 34 was twice the player Meninga was.

As for Renouf, Cronin, Rogers et al - they played with gret sides. Cronin played outside kenny and Sterlo, and inside Grothe. Renouf only shone when Walters was inside him. Look who Gasnier has had to play with recently. Jamie Soward LOL. Only ET shone with poor clubs

One on one, Gasnier is, over a long period, the best. He was the best Aussie back in the centenary test. Hodges went MIA.

Last year, Tahu had the best centre's season in the last 20 years. Second was Lyon in 01. But overall, unlike them, I can't recall Gaz having a bad year, even when Saints have.

As for Souths....who was your best? did Joe Squadrito play centres?
