suspected pedophile
Innocent.
Talk about questionable personal lives ... Let's discuss the grifters who he had to defend himself against ...
suspected pedophile
I really struggle to give a sh*t about Michael Jacksons death. At the end of the day he was dancer who could sing, his lyrics weren't particularly memorable, and his personal life was very very questionable. Its sad for his family and friends and probably similar to Elvis Presley, his early death was created by those around him a long time ago, but i find it a little disgusting the media coverage being devoted to one plastic prescription drug abusing persons death. I mean last year Tokin Blackman from Tism and DD and Taz from the meanies both lost their lives, these people sounded like beter people, down to earth regular guys and of course there was barely a mention. Thats how it should be, they arent different people due to being famous.
Compare this to the situation in Iran where people are being shot by their own government, in Africa where people die from starvation and preventable diseases, hell there was a train accident where over ten people died yesterday in the states, these are much sadder and more tragic event than the death of a popstar.

Stan Zemanek did lots of work for charity, he was still a prick. You're aware of all the work Michael Jackson did around the world for charitable organizations, right?
His character was dubious, perhaps - but he was a musical genius AND he backed up his message of world love with his actions.
He's far more than just another pop star.
But Michael pales in comparrison to the John Lennons, Bob Dylans, hell the Neil Youngs and Simon and Garfunkles of the world.

Let me say it is not just MJ here. Im just sick to f**king death of famous people being lauded in death as genius's, whatever the background, ignoring of the faults, put up on some sort of pedastal(sp) because of being famous. People die all the f**king time, its a sad fact of nature but it happens.
And Fat Mike, difference is no one, absolutely no one will remember Frenzal as one of the great bands, or some genius life changing act. They are and always have been a happy go lucky type band who are a bit of fun and some good music (IMO), not some artist revered as one of the greats based on a decent singing voice and amazing dancing ability/showmanship.

Reflecting on itYou're a fool red bear, you come into a thread in a music section of the forum and complain that we're saddened by news and not focussing on Iran and other problems in the world. Get a freakign grip will you. I mean how dare music fans in a music section display some form of saddness at the passing
To say MJ's lyrics were sh*t and then have frenzal Rhomb in your banner is ridiculous. I guess Beaded Curtains Pts 1 & 2 most definitely sh*ts all over anything MJ did. This Generation has basically lost our Elvis/Beatles.
Never been a fan of MJ but to me being a huge music fan i can appreciate MJ the entertainer and can definitly feel the significance of the death.
oh and if you still think he's a pedophile i suggets you head to smokinggun.com and read the court transcripts in the archive section.
OK regarding that only. And you're aware that none of the charges that were made against Jackson stuck?
And you're kidding if you honestly think he's not up there, if not beyond, the Lennons (dumbest, most over-rated song ever in "Imagine"), Dylans etc. He chnaged the way music videos were done. He changed the face of pop music forever.
But hey - let us let your putrid hatred of the man get in the way of objectivity.
Each to their own, but Michael Jackson was as revolutionary a musician as there has been in the 20th century.OK regarding that only.
I dont see that as brilliant from a musical sense at all. He was a revolutionary entertainer, there is no doubting that, not necesarily a revolutionary musician IMO.
Reflecting on it
This isnt the appropriate forum for my personal views re this as it should be MJ the musician and not my personal dislike for sh*tty journalism and the rediculous amount of coverage deaths such as this receive, as well as my dislike of people being remembered as greater than they actually are due to their death. So i'll put my hand up there and say this is the wrong place to air these views, should've been in the four corners thread.
Still stand by my views however.
Well, at least Micheal Jackson didn't strangle himself with his own dick like that Kung Fu fella.
And I guess we have Jackson to thank for over-shadowing our lost to the QLD'ers.
What humiliation!
He eased our pain.
All you sympathisers for this guy here should have your hard drives examined by the F.B.I.
I bet Jackson used to loiter around ellementary schools in a trench coat with pocket fulls of candy and in the off-peak hour chased Mr. Whippy and the kids who trailed.
Whats the difference between Neil Armstrong and Michael Jackson?
Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon and Michael Jackson was a homosexual pedophile

Thats cos TISM are sh*t (but who the f**k isnt)
But it isnt about that, they were simply examples of band people who died recently receiving little to no coverage, despite being for the most part better people. Its about how insignificant this moment is in comparrison to what else is ahppening in the world. I feel for Jackson's family because its never good to lose a family member and i hope thye get the privacy they desire, but i personally couldnt give a sh*t, because there are far more important happening and far more tragic happening in the world at this moment than a plastic, drug abusing suspected pedophile passing away.
