We are so used to the high standards we have set, I fond it hard to watch when we play dumb. I thought our first 20 mins against manly was awful, today we just made dumb decisions early in the tackle count. That's what I find incredibly frustrating.

I still believe we need more spark out of dummy half. We seen to struggle most of the time getting decent go forward.

That's a disappointing loss in my opinion.

Yep. Second string side. Rep duties. Injuries. But we were beaten in areas we normally win - energy, enthusiasm, desire. Very un-Dragonlike. And it was not our fringe players. It was our regulars.

I was harsh on prior a few weeks back, but I don't think he was the worst out there today.

horrible game, so glad the origin series will be over and we field our first team.

I was surprised more than anything else. We rarely get out enthused. But like I said before, we played dumb, rushed football. We needed to apply pressure amd we didn't. Instead we forced the issue early in the tackle count.

I do think dean young is struggling. He may well play from the bench moving forward.
Tagive is a very nervous player. Needs more time.

Minor premiership might be hard to achieve now though.

Yeh i was at the game and it was a really flat atmosphere compared to normal. I think they will be fine, but they looked flat today. It was disappointing, but after the bye the real dragons will be back

It was almost as if the knights beat us at our own game. We couldn't get through them in the second half. They took everything we had (which wasn't very much today) then rolled down the field and scored. From there they kept moving forward and we didn't look like we had another gear to go to. We never seemed to get our heads into the field and from the drop ball off the opening kick off to the end we remained flat.

Yes, we were about to get into a huge try scoring opportunity to tie the game with a kick to come and Prior lets the the entire team down by dropping the bloody ball like he does far more than any professional player should.

Certainly a lacklustre game but I didnt think that Prior was all that bad and at times very good. Had Tagive not dropped the ball when over the line the score line would have looked very respectable and may have brought us a win. We really missed our top guns and in particular Sowards kicking for conversions. Otherwise it could have been much worse.

Stanley went down early and from what i saw was clutching at his groin. only saw the first half but was hoping we would come on strong in the 2nd half.

Imbecile is the apt description. Was at this a few weeks ago harping on about how Prior was just one of 'Brownie's boys' and not wanted by Bennett. Claimed Bennett only had him in the side because he was under contract. Totally ignored the fact that Bennett picks him every week and has done so since he arrived, including in last years GF, ignored the fact he was under consideration for SOO, ignored the fact that there are a host of players there who were there initially under Brown, ignored the fact that his contract was extended on Bennett's watch.

So you can expect any loss will bring this worm out of the woodwork to lay blame at Prior's feet. Some can't see the big picture and have to have a scapegoat.

Lol in some ways it is kind of refreshing to see that even when we are defending premiers the Dragons fanbase still bears its teeth when we lose.

I for one dont think this slump is unexpected, if you can even call it that. Long pre season - heavy rep duties - injuries to key players - this was not unexpected at all but I am happy that its happening now, middle of the season and we are still sitting in third position.

Do any of you think Bennett is concerned? I honestly dont think he has broken a sweat about it at all.
