I get the shits they we win one test and the media starts printing these "embarrassment of riches" stories, and how Watto is no certainty cause Cowan and Warner are such guns.......
Watto should be no certainty (to open) not because of Cowan or Warner or any other opener but because he's been a shit opener for the best part of the 12 months before his injury.

I thought the benefit of the doubt goes to the batsman??? Thats two rough calls on Cowan in 3 digs IMO.

Thats not the point I was arguing though it was the way too premature call of anointing Cowan and Warner "cemented" openers.

Exactly, India got 5 runs from their final 3 wickets, Australia has the potential to get 40-60 runs out of theirs.

What happened? He was devastating in the West Indies earlier in the year. Now he seems labored. I know the WI aren't Australia, but he seems lethargic.
