I don't think it's such bad luck. Kelly is a decent player. Kearney wouldn't have brought him to the club otherwise.
Ah, yes SK. How could we ever forget him.

It's not bad luck, It's bad management. There's a massive difference.
It's not my fault sandow didn't work out, although I was always against his signing.
Dont be a hater because somebody has a differing opinion to yours.

The guy who signed most of our current team?
Radradra
Tonga
Hopoate
Toutai
Kelly
Mannah
Moimoi
Smith
Paulo
Tanginoa
Terepo
Lussick
Don't forget he set up the #academy
I was against the Moimoi and Smith re-signings. But you're right - because the club had to pay overs to bring players in, we were better off re-signing the ones we had. Kearney got rid of the right ones but. We were outbid for Tupou, and Taufua wasn't ready for first grade when we let him go. We already had plenty of reserve grade wingers.
Kearney's biggest f**k up was hanging on to Keating. That, and coming to the worst club in the comp.
Plenty of coaches loved Matt Keating. He came through Brian Smith's system, and was picked in first grade by Hagan, Anderson, Kearney and Stuart. And two of those guys have won premierships.
Keating's problem is the game evolved past him. In the age of split halves, there's no place for a dummy half without playmaking skills.
Keating was of Kearney's favourite. I think if Kearney had stayed around he wouldve been made Keating Captain of the team well ahead of Hayne.
He was the best half on the market. He was killing it at Souths. He went badly downhill at Parra and now we can't move him on.
\You're against every f**king signing. As a Parra fan you're bound to be right if you predict new signings will suck. We're specials at it.\
Was the picking of Matt Keating because they had no other genuiine alternative though? The only time during the entire Keating era that we actually played any decent football was when Kevin Kingston was given a run to play the dummy half role off the bench. Outside of that 12 week period a the back of 2009 we have been nothing short of woeful whilst Keating was here!
Am I right in suggesting that it was only two of those coaches in Hagan and Kearney (who it was previously pointed out loved Keating) that actually re-signed him? Where Anderson and Stuart were essentially stuck with him as there was no other choice.
We still talking about sandow here. The most ad-lib off the cuff footballer recruited to play the most boring, Structured one dimensional football of the last decade. The same sandow that has never played or guided his team to semi final footy and has gotten into strife no matter which team he has played for?
Please confirm.
I was against a lot of shit that went down at the eels over the past five years

SK made us into the worst club in the comp.
We were just unlucky mate. Two years of injuries to key players/leaders Hayne, Tonga, Loko and Ben Smith hurt us on the field. Two years of merkins whingeing about the board hurt us off it.
We were already shit when Kearney arrived.
