    Elliot will never do that. He will either: a) Name him on an extended bench but drop him back to Reggies. b) Pick him on the bench, but put him on with 15 mins left in the game c) Have him start at halfback, praise him as a future rep player but drop him after one bad game.

    Wasted potential in former players

    It sounds abit funny but I would say Ken Nagas. He played for Canberra, NSW and Australia but he was cruelled with injury in his prime. He would of gone down as one of the legends ala Grothe on the wing IMO. He is still considered a great player but he could of been so much more.

    Jmes Evans the Raider? He was destined for big things but a cruel run in with the posts robbed him of his speed and he was never the same player.

    I think many Broncos players could leave Brisbane and earn big dollars at others clubs but most respect Coach Bennet too much. It's the culture in the club. Carroll left but returned. Darren Smith left but returned. Mapp left but returned. Hodeges left but returned. You get my drift.

    I dont agree that Brisbane is on a downward spiral in Brisbane but I do think they need a second team in Brisbane. One game every two weeks in second biggest RL market in the world is not good enough.

    I think a second Brisbane team should be the NRL's top priority. Think about it. Let's say expansion first started in 1980. That's 25 years and still Brisbane, the secong biggest League stronghold in the WORLD still only has 1 team. That's equal to the AFL, Football, Basketball.... Brisbane...

    No chance in hell. For many reasons. One for example is SOO. The pinnacle of our game. In most cases only NRL players are selected.

    Ricky Stuart is a tool

    Fittler, Minichiello, Wing, Fitzgibbon, Morley, Cayless, Ricketson and to a lesser extent Crocker, Flannery anf Hegarty when he was there (Test centre at the time) can all be considered superstars. Plenty of SOO and Test experience there.

    Has our form slump harmed recruitment?

    We will be losing Hindmarsh, O'Hara, Adamson, T, Smith and Martin. Croker will be even slower then he is now. Add to that we lost Davico and Wiki this year. We have picked up dead wood in Lomu and Williams. Seems to me we going backwards. Especially in our forwards.
