    Burton’s hand and kicking skills are better than Graham’s. He might end up in the back row towards the end of his career, but I’m pretty confident he’ll predominately be a half. There‘s a lack of good halves as well.

    Burton might end up a better 6 than Luai, but I remain of the view that Luai is a better fit for Cleary. Luai’s off the cuff play suits Cleary’s by the numbers gone perfectly. Where as Burton is quite similar to Cleary, albeit he plays on the left.

    He has had a bit of a lean run, what I meant was it’s not a true two year dip in form because of the lack of tests. Even 11 tests we’d generally play over just one year.

    You can’t be below par for two years when we’ve only played 6 test matches in that time. That’s a summer. Also he killed it in ODI’s in 2020.

    Street is still too inconsistent. He’s capable of big scores like Harris, but he gets a lot of low scores too. Plus there’s questions over his footwork.

    He’s played Pakistan, he just hasn’t played in Pakistan. (None of the current team have) Warner’s away record is pretty poor across the board, but who else are we going to play? Harris is already rubbish, so we’d need two new openers.

    Can‘t drop him after one test match, it’d send a terrible signal to all other batsmen. Don’t get me wrong, he‘s not an international player. But need to think bigger picture.
