    Not really. There was a near 2 year period where there was no Jersey Flegg, NSW cup and their QRL equivalents.

    Look at how poor depth is currently in the NRL with 17 teams. Need at least 10 years before an 18th team is introduced. In that time the NRL along with the state bodies should be looking to set up better pathways in non-NRL club areas.

    I've always gathered it to be that age or younger not purely being under that age. Sean Russell and Will Penisini played Harold Matts in 2018 (when it was still u/16's), they were born in 2002.

    I believe Smith has been training with Flegg, U21's means 21 years or younger. It doesn't mean he won't make it but you'd think if he was a chance of playing first grade in the next 1-2 years he'd have some sort first grade deal.

    Talagi was incredible in the middle, believe he played the entire first half and then came back on later in the game too. The middle of him, Vaivela, Ong, Funa-Iuta will give the spine so much room to work with. I think once Cyrus settles down a bit he can be a great player, despite being a year...

    I wonder how the season changes if the bunker correctly ruled that the ball was placed behind Hodgson's foot rather than the penalty for walking through the ruck? We get a full set 50m out and likely kick a field goal. May have gotten rid of the goal kicking yips Moses had in the first few weeks.
