    2nd ASHES TEST: @ Lords Jun 28 - Jul 2nd, 2023

    Is that Ben Duckett?

    2nd ASHES TEST: @ Lords Jun 28 - Jul 2nd, 2023

Little known fact about Lords is that the ground is on a slope. The commentators don't often mention it.

    2nd ASHES TEST: @ Lords Jun 28 - Jul 2nd, 2023

England picking no spinner suggests they think it will seam around a bit. I'd give Boland another go, and probably bowl first given the forecast for the first few days isn't great.

    2023 World Cup

There really should be 4-6 of these teams qualifying for the WC.

    2023 Ashes (Womens Edition)

They play one test worth 4 points and 3x ODI and 3x T20i worth 2 points each. Most points wins the Ashes. In the event of a tie, Baz will enter one teams changerooms and declare them the real winner.

    2nd ASHES TEST: @ Lords Jun 28 - Jul 2nd, 2023

Bazball is about going as hard as possible to try and get a victory. Except when they lose, then its about being a great advert for the game.

If Cummins takes 5fa and we win, I'm buying a Tesla.

    1st ASHES TEST: @ Edgbaston, Birmingham June 16-20, 2023

For the first time ever, I am thankful for my 2 year old waking me up at 3:30am.

    1st ASHES TEST: @ Edgbaston, Birmingham June 16-20, 2023

Every day of that match, England started better and we were able to claw them back later in the day. It was great resilience to not let them get away, even though we weren't at our best. We got way more improvement in us than England do.

    1st ASHES TEST: @ Edgbaston, Birmingham June 16-20, 2023

Head and Carey are key I reckon. A counterattacking 60-70 could be match winning here. Khawaja and Green will most likely dig themselves in for the long haul. Can't trust any of the tail to score many. Sadly, I have seen this story before and I think I know how it ends.

It feels like forever since we chased down a 250+ total.

    1st ASHES TEST: @ Edgbaston, Birmingham June 16-20, 2023

Our tail is what it is. Our top order needs to value their wicket better, because we aren't getting cheap runs from the tail.

We have three genuine number 11s, four if you include Warner.

    1st ASHES TEST: @ Edgbaston, Birmingham June 16-20, 2023

Cummins looks like such a walking wicket these days, especially in defence. I think he needs to reinvent himself as a Starc style slogger.

    1st ASHES TEST: @ Edgbaston, Birmingham June 16-20, 2023

First 4 wickets were very ordinary. Green not much better but a bit unlucky he got the only ball that actually did something off this dead wicket. Great knock from Khawaja. Carey is having a good couple of tests with the bat.

    Golf ~ 2023 US Open

Looks like a course set up nicely for Rory to win, which means of course he will find a way to lose. Two Aussies in the top 10 but a long way back with good players ahead of them. Theyll need some good rounds today to stay on contention.

    1st ASHES TEST: @ Edgbaston, Birmingham June 16-20, 2023

Three gift wickets for England. Same story for the past 20 years when we tour there. Of course, they'll credit it to stupid declarations and Stokes captaincy though.

Match Discussion: Round 16 vs Melbourne @ Campbelltown Sports Stadium, Leumeah / Dharawal

Some of these position swaps are crazy. We move Papalii to the right side for no reason last week and then this week To'a is defending at 5/8 on the left, despite playing right centre all year. How do we expect combinations to develop?

Who scores more tonight: Melbourne Storm or David Warner?
