    2020/21 Offseason - Knights

I thought we have a no dickheads policy? I think Norman would have trouble getting any contract in the NRL these days- he's obviously cancer

    Player of the year

without question we'd be going very close..... A good halves pairing along in our roster and we'd be top 4 and challenging. Imagine if Joey had our roster ? ........the banana kicks out to Lee, grubbers for Tuala, cut out balls putting Best into open space, or the lines that Fitz would be running

    Player of the year

Ponga thoroughly deserves it. If we had a halfback and 5/8 that were to his standard we would have finished top 4

    Rumoured Targets 3

Isn't the "story" about Norman and Sione coming from the Telegraph ? Possibly AOB waved hello to Norman when we played the Dragons last and Sione liked a friends photo on Instagram

    2020/21 Offseason - Knights

Seeing this kid play and hearing him speak about the kNights gives me a lot of confidence in the years ahead. He's got Superstar written all over him. https://www.newcastleknights.com.au/news/2020/10/08/bradmans-best-laid-plans-are-for-a-future-with-the-knights/ Bradman's best laid plans are...

    Rumoured Targets 3

In other words the halfback. KP is going to do none of those. We have been talking about fullback and 5/8 positions. I agree the halfback is the most important position and the Knights are lacking a half that is skilled in the things you mentioned and moving KP to 5/8 isnt going to change that.

    Rumoured Targets 3

The "big 3 " at Storm were Cronk. Smith and Slater ( no 5/8 ) Tedesco. Trbojevic, Tuivasa-Sheck are arguably the more influential in their teams then the 5/8 and so is the fullback position in the modern game. The players mentioned above are their teams most potent attacking weapons and are...

that would also involve taking the biggest slowest grunt with one eye and making him the forward scout.

    Rumoured Targets 3

exactly Fullback allows Ponga to play to his strengths and is where he is most lethal - fullback is far more influential on the outcome of the modern game. Moving Ponga would nullify his strengths and stagnate his development as a footy player. You dont take your most precision sniper and...

    Rumoured Targets 3

Fullback in the modern game is quickly becoming the most important position in the team. So the proposal is - Take our one of the games best fullbacks and our most lethal attacking weapon and move him to another position ? Partner him at 5/8 with our halfback who cant organise our team or...

    2020 Representative players

Difficult to compare Lee's stats with other wingers because he misses so many games.( one reason I wouldnt re-sign him ) I just think Lee doesnt present any threat at all, just a continuation of a passiveness I hope we get rid of.

No one that played the amount of games he played or played all their games at halfback

Hunt is solid and gives 100% Lee is an interesting one- I wouldnt re-sign him let alone entertain adding him to the SOO squad.

Match Discussion: Finals Week 1 vs Rabbitohs @ ANZ Stadium

Pearce is equal 10th in halfbacks for forced drop outs with 10. Cleary is 1st with 26 .....huge difference same with his missed tackles

Match Discussion: Finals Week 1 vs Rabbitohs @ ANZ Stadium

Wow, that's a damning stat right there and it showed on a number of occasions. A few times there was a dog shot on one our players that barely raised an eyebrow from our pack......juxtaposed to the hit JWH put on Ponga last year and the whole teams reaction to it. We are way too passive.

    Rumoured Targets 3

If going by Gardner's previous comments the Knights will no longer be recruiting players with a poor history of serious injuries such as Moga and Griffin

Mitchell Pearce, what does he do well?

2018 was when Brown was coach so the answer would be 6 different 5/8's. First game it was Watson and last game of 2018 it was Jack Cogger It was reported at the time that the Roosters thinking was that after years of minor premierships Pearce didnt have the extra gear to deliver the title-...

Mitchell Pearce, what does he do well?

This We have a younger version already and a good future in our quality young dummy half Brailey who should be in that position for many years to come
