Seems likely the cops will issue him a $1,000 bluey as well. Will be interested to see if May also gets one.

    News Coronavirus and NRL

This article seems like pure conjecture to me, but if the numbers are correct the NRL has a lot of work to do to make its business viable. The $1.9b represents Fox's current $200m for 8 years as well as Nine's $90 or $100m over three years, and so is quite misleading. Vlandys accepting a...

He's in their 30 man squad, obviously.

So they lied before? Or more likely making it up as they go along. It hasn't really been satisfactorily explained what May's role in this was.

And sexist. And homophobic. And in so doing they pour their resources into trying to impress non-fans while ignoring their heartland.

More Sydney clubs will merge within the next decade - Gould

Parra Panthers (more likely Western Sydney Panthers) isn't completely impossible, but Roosters merging while Rabbitohs remain unscathed certainly is.

More Sydney clubs will merge within the next decade - Gould

You are right about coaches but every club in the League moves players on. It's hard to think of many that he moved on that did better elsewhere. Blake Austin probably, but how many years ago was that. And Sivo of course but he could still be a one season wonder. Apisai Koroisau is a third but...

I'm not so sure they'll boot him, only for someone else to pick him up.

Basically they laid down and copped it, which is what Nathan should have done.

This must be why 13 of the 17 players from their round 1 side were developed elsewhere.

Bryce is on a good deal more than that I'd expect, even with 20% taken off. Of course whether they can actually refuse to pay him might be determined in court.

Gun culture, biker culture, everything is cultural. Christmas is cultural. Mothers Day is cultural. Drinking piss is cultural. Men and women dancing is cultural. Cultural means precisely squat. The NRL is afraid of minorities, that's the size of it. A bit chilly up in the hills behind Taree to...

Deleted, just realised I'd replied to a very old post.

Just like the Ruby Princess and Newmarch House, the only hope for the Titans in Brisbane is a complete rebirth.

    Former Panthers in the NRL

Maybe Bellyache is looking for the ultimate challenge of his coaching skills, at about a third of what he's on now.

    Former Panthers in the NRL

Might get a gig in England. After all the likes of Jarrod Sammut and Luke Walsh were able to carve out decent careers in jolly old blighty.

    Former Panthers in the NRL

He hardly came out of it smelling like roses that's for sure. My feeling was always that he should have got a legal eagle to handle it (who could have had her produce evidence of pregnancy and maybe even his paternity), and had a non-disclosure clause put in. He doesn't seem to be the sharpest...

    News Coronavirus and NRL

If I want more tries I'll watch touch footy. It's the flow of the game and the balance between defence and attack, and the way continual stoppages favours less fit sides. This was brought in at the whim of one man without consulting anyone and as such was always going to be a f**k up. Anyway PR...
