    News Coronavirus and NRL

I think the 2018 30+ penalties a game crackdown was ridiculous and achieved nothing. Also the way refs have a million voices in their ears, a situation that led to the fiasco in last year's GF. And he's been proven right in how the NRL handle its financial side as well. Having said that he...

You're talking about Gus obviously. Quite often (certainly not always) he is right (which is to say I agree with him), but then he won't put his hand up to take on a leadership role in the sport. He prefers to stay safe in his media role.

The integrity of this year's comp isn't shot. You've been listening to Uncle Nick too much.

What's the point of buying a newspaper if you cannot use it to create an environment that furthers your business interests?

Newspaper talk that she was forced, but the truth is you can neither force a woman to have an abortion nor force her not to have one. She wasn't his missus either, just a stray.

    Your "League Lockdown" Re-watch

The 2009 Prelim Parra vs Dogs before 75,000 fans (on Fox with a "live" call just yesterday). Parra came from behind to win only to be stopped by an over-the-cap Storm the following week. Fuifui Moimoi was a monster and Hayne unstoppable. It was a very good Dogs side they beat. Every fan of...

    News Coronavirus and NRL

The refs union, for goodness sake. Refs are direct employees of the NRL, and have been stood down because there are no games to referee, right? Now they want them to come back to work in 2 weeks and the Union has an issue with that? Maybe they're taking a pay cut like everyone else. Edit: Oh OK...

Well, to be perfectly fair, the latter is the Government's position in every state of Australia, is it not?

Wouldn't surprise me who Bryce's missus is mixed up with. He certainly has history of picking livewires for life partners. He's a member of one of the more famous RL families, but most blokes tend to resent these things being said of their cheese and kisses.

Completely and utterly different circumstances involved, but well done invoking Godwin's Law after 264 pages.

    Favourite Panther wins

NRL.com had the final round game of 1992 on last evening, us vs the wooden spooner Gold Coast Seagulls, played at Tweed Heads. It was Wally's last game, that's why it was on. I only watched the first half. All our points were scored in the first half, and we should have led by 20+ with the holes...

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

I reckon it would have helped him that when the girls fronted up he went in his room. This might have gone unnoticed in the media who are fixated on the negative and the sensational but I doubt it went unnoticed at the club.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

I think Bryce was different. He adapted to first grade quite well, was a matchwinner on a number of occasions, and he even made the Origin development squad, but firstly injuries and then personal matters messed him up, particularly in the head I'd suggest. If this vaxxing business is the final...

Damien Cook was a musical chairs footballer. Wherever he was when the music stopped (ie he came good) won the prize. Dragons and Bulldogs came after us, and the Rabbitohs had to pick up Robbie Farah because Cook was not yet a first grader at 25. It was similar with Cody Walker.

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

May needs to have an outstanding season to get another deal. Perhaps they feel he could develop into a Craig Wing type of utility.
