    Ladder 2024 Dragons

Obviously a lot of things can happen over the course of a season, but if you had to step back and take an impartial view it's hard to see how you'd pick anyone other than us or the Tigers for the spoon. With a very weak roster and a captain who doesn't even want to play for us, not hard to see...

Hunt has asked for a release

    Good point. Forgot about Zac.

Hunt has asked for a release

He's probably the only acceptable option.

    Daly M Awards 2023

Have to agree, it's a bit odd that Ivan Cleary has made 4 grand finals in a row but still is not considered the best coach. Still, he'd probably take a premiership over a Dally M any day.

Rugby Australia to target top NRL talent

Geez, what was the poor bugger supposed to do for the other 70 minutes? The title of this thread is funny. Top NRL talent? The Wallabies would be improved by a handful of QLD Cup talent.

    2024 Squad List

Based on our usual recruitment, this is probably very close to the mark.

    2023 Grand Final predictions

They might not have DVD players when the next win comes around - better watch it now!

    2023 Grand Final predictions

Broncos by 4, Adam Reynolds for the Clive Churchill. Two standout teams all year, both in great form and has the potential to be one of the best grand finals in recent memory. Never thought I'd say it but, go the Broncos!

Hunt has asked for a release

According to Zero Tackle, Pat Carrigan is on 800K at the Broncos. Straight swap for our Benny seems fair.

    2024 Squad List

Nah, the off-season won't be the same if posm doesn't post a new team every couple of days that includes someone we've got no chance of getting.

    2024 Squad List

Twal doesn't offer much off the bench so he'd have to be a starter for us. His defence is excellent though, so he'd probably strengthen our middle in the early stages. Not much use to us though if there's no impact coming off the bench after him.

    2024 Squad List

Kyle Flanagan is not a first grade halfback or hooker whose selection will be clouded by his relationship with the coach. He's Jake Arthur, not Nathan Cleary.

Tevita Pangai Junior quits NRL to take up boxing

TPJ might be able to beat up a few truck drivers and fat bouncers but as soon as he gets in with someone who has some skill and heart he'll be back in the NRL.

    2024 Squad List

If Pangai doesn't have the heart for the NRL he certainly doesn't have the heart for boxing.

    Bud News

Better run than us? In the last 11 years (including this one) we've finished in front of the Tigers 8 times and we've been rubbish. We're a basket case but they're are on a different level. They might have bought some 'names' but those names have been terrible and taken them all the way to 17th...

    Bud News

It was a mistake to let Robson go, especially when it seems that McInnes would have played anywhere (unlike our current captain) for the good of the team. The decision to get rid of AFB was the right one and a rare moment of leadership from the powers that be - too bad we didn't take the same...

    2024 Squad List

The chances of us signing anyone of note seem fairly remote. Haas isn't interested and our fearless leader has probably spent the origin series bad mouthing us to his QLD mates, meaning Tino and Fifita will walk a mile the other way. We aren't going to be able to simply buy a team. Which means...

It's our way of saying, "be realistic, we're no chance of getting someone like Tino or Haas"...
