    Cannot see any NRL club taking any of those 4 off our books except as depth signings Flanno will give everyone of them a chance to perform, it’s up to those 4 guys to earn a spot on in the 17 otherwise they will end up on the bench in the KOE Cup

    The standard of proof is beyond reasonable doubt. The identification issue will be grounds for appeal. Amone’s Counsel has rolled the dice. High risk/reward strategy. As another forum member stated, his prospective sentence discount is toast.

    Amone guilty.

    Not sure what the basis of appeal would be the court found he was there they may appeal the sentence but at the end of the day the conviction should lead to contract termination and a ban from playing in the NRL for at least the same period as his gaol sentence.
