    Going off today’s game, Cole will need to work on his defence in preseason if he is going to get a run in first grade. He let in 2 soft tries today defending at centre, so has some work to do to be able to defend on an edge or middle as a 14 in first grade.

    Did anyone else think the Crichton no try was a try? The bunker said there was no downward pressure on the ball but he actually touches the ball when it was on the ground. Of all the 4 disallowed tries, this was the worst one.

    Has Staines played any left wing in NSW Cup, or only right wing like in first grade? If not, I wonder if Ivan will play him at right wing and move To'o to left. Or keep Too and Crichton together who have started to form a good combination in attack, and play Staines on the left.

    I didn’t see the game, but from the stats it looks like Staines had plenty of involvement. 27 runs, 316 metres, 2 try assists, a line break assist.
