Disagree. We play best when our line speed is at it's most aggressive.

    General Discussion Thread

Tommy Raudonikis said he loves James Maloney because he's plays so tough despite being small. I was thinking him rushing up to tackle big guys is such a rather crazy style. Usually a half would defend up behind the second rower and try to hold onto to the attacker so others can make the tackle...

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

Tamou will be around the age a forward would go to Super League by the time his contract is up regardless.

    Injury update

Dunno if this has been brought up before but on Twitter Gus said Soni Luke is undergoing a shoulder reconstruction. I thought we released him but there you go.

He'll take on the line more when he has more confidence and he'll get more confidence he gets closer to 100%.

    Anthony Griffin

Was watching Big League Wrap when controversy corner came on. Rothfield said something along the lines of Gus and Griffin are having some disagreements but the players love Griffin. And tbf there is a lot of footage of the players hugging Griffin. This is just a theory but I think Griffin just...

In the first game of the year Mckendry was our best prop on the field. Before his injury he was plodding but from the glimpses of what I've seen of him it looks like he's regained some fire during his injury period. It's just a question of if he can string a few games together (but sadly the...

He's coming off an acl injury. Greg Inglis, RTS, Tedesco, almost everyone who comes off one take doesn't look as good as before for awhile.

    Round 18 v Sharks

Aekins had 303 metres, 27 runs, 7 tackle breaks, 1 line break and an offload. Apart from his drop ball from one bomb he was great and didn't do anything wrong.

    Round 18 v Sharks

I like Moylan and I think he gets some undeserved hate but tbf he did have a tendency to fade in and out of games while at the Panthers.

    Round 18 v Sharks

He said he was born in Penrith in a post match interview.

    Jarome Luai

About Jarome not playing every game in reserve grade like he did against the Warriors. It's a team sport, players don't play in a vacuum. I doubt our reserve grade forward pack dominated any team like we did to the Warriors in the reserve grade games he played.

    Injury update

A bruised foot could be a one week injury and he's the game against Sharks off.

Edwards has mentioned he's working on it during pre season. I've noticed he's done a few good short passes which he didn't do in previous years. He just needs to perfect cut outs now. When he first played first grade Cooper Cronk said Billy Slater could only pass well a metre in any direction...

Nah, he's more consistent than guys like Roberts and Latrell. And Inglis is pretty old by this stage.

    Former Panthers in the NRL

Like I said he's gotten better recently but for his first 7 or so games he was making a shocking amount of errors. He far was below average, he playing similar at a level similar to Aiden Sezer. At one point he lead the error count for the comp despite not playing a couple games. I think he made...

He just strikes me as a big game player. Probably will get himself up for the reserve grade grandfinal. Regardless he scored something like 6 tries in 9 matches which ain't bad for a half.

I've notice we've been doing some wrap around plays using Kikau, not spontaneously. Like an actual set play, we've done it about 3 or times 4 times in the last couple matches. It's strange, doesn't seem like something Hook would get them to practice. Wonder who got them doing that.
