18-4 Warriors right on full time.

KOE (ex Canterbury Cup) and Jersey Flegg

Dragons 4-0 in the KOE Cup game at half time. Noticed Latu selected at prop in the Flegg game.

Apologies to @hewi. Did not check the earlier posts.

    The Rumours Thread

Just reading a headline story from the Herald saying Dean Young has emerged as a shock contender for the Eels head coaching role.

    The Rumours Thread

So Talagi is being chased by the Dragons and the Knights. Knights want him as a five eight, the Dragons as a centre. Appears he is waiting for the appointment of the new Parramatta coach to see where he fits into his plans, then will make a decision on his next contract.

    Future Rugby League Stars

Spot on Dragon D. They said in commentary that Halangahu is still only 17 years old. Thought they all played well but this guy has that look about him as a real future star.

    Damien Cook

The other thing with the Cook deal is there has been no official announcement on the Dragon's website. Thinking we are now in the 10 day cooling off period?? Will believe the deal is done once the official club announcement is made.

KOE (ex Canterbury Cup) and Jersey Flegg

Dangerous runner of the football, but his defence needs a lot of work. Stuart looks to be loading the lower grades with some young talent. Ethan Sanders looks the early pick to succeed down there.

    Jack de Belin

Flanagan has already recently stated that he expects De Belin to stay.

    Damien Cook

Yes from me. Big body and a bit of mongrel.

    Dragons Head Of Recruitment

Will all depend on who they look at as their next target, and whether that person is available now or not until the end of this season. I still think Scott Fulton is worth another look. Has a solid track record of getting deals done, and not sure if we will ever know exactly what went wrong that...

KOE (ex Canterbury Cup) and Jersey Flegg

If you look at the competition tables Justa, we are literally in the middle of the pack across all 3 grades. We need an ongoing injection of new players in all the grades in the coming years. Seems to be a high number of new young forwards coming through, but only a handful of outside backs.

    Round 15 - v Manly

They had DCE today. We had Hunt. A couple of quality signings plus another off season working on our defence and we will compete on a more consistent basis.

    Round 15 - v Manly

My heart as always says Dragons. But my head is saying not today. One proviso, if our defence stays committed for 80 minutes we do have a chance.

    Damien Cook

Sounds more like the Roosters will show Smith the door at season's end, thus looking for a short term fix for hooker in 25/26.

Have already posted comments like this. But what odds they sign Cook and offer Smith to the Dragons??

    The Rumours Thread

The last recent interview I heard with Flanagan he said he was confident of getting a deal done with JDB in the next week or two. Apparently there was also a rumour on one of the sports betting sites that the Dragons were looking at signing a state of origin centre to replace Lomax. Did anyone...

    The Rumours Thread

Carayannis on the ABC said Souths have offered Cook a job after next season with their football department in 2026. I am not convinced Cook will leave, but after your post Rig, who knows??

    Dragons Head Of Recruitment

Do we revisit hiring Scott Fulton?? Have not seen any news that he has picked up another gig anywhere, unless I have missed it.

    Dragons Head Of Recruitment

This is why over the years I have become very hesitant to believe so many headlines about the NRL. All the journalists say he is staying with the Dolphins, joining the Dragons or following Bennett to the Rabbits. No mention that I saw of Newcastle since this story broke a while back. Same thing...
