    It's the public broadcaster moron, it's paid for by taxpayers, which considering the popularity of rugby league in Australia, would include millions of NRL supporters. So yes, they actually do have an obligation to cover rugby league.

    Rothfield is a petulant twit. I am all for a second Brisbane team, but to say it's needed because the Broncos are financially successful is ridiculous, its an argument for bringing them down to the lowest common denominator, not for growing the game.

    It's marketing a sense of community by linking fans with players, in particular younger fans, by promoting the use of social media to discuss 'moments' during games to "be part of history". It's very clearly targeting a more youthful demographic. It's a typically safe NRL campaign.

    if it's true he will be lucky to avoid prison, after the tandy episode NSW introduced a penalty of up to 10 yrs imprisonment to anyone who "intentionally fixes or influences the outcome of a sporting event for financial benefit, including players".
