Are we allowed to do fundraising on here?

Hello you wonderful people, I’m doing a fundraising thing for the month of May, we’re supporting Help Auckland who do great work supporting victims of sexual abuse (e.g. court advocacy and support thru the police processes) and preventing abuse from happening in the first place with education...

    Yep, named in #14.

    Rumor Mill

Taken from the bottom of this article: "Souths are closing in on the signature of Kodi Nikorima for this year and with an option in his favour for 2023. The Warriors were initially interested in a player swap, with Siliva Havili one player on the Warriors’ radar, only for Souths to show little...

The Game 2022 Jerseys, Sponsorship, Logos etc

So the Rabbitohs indigenous jersey is "honouring our mothers and the women in our lives" and the Titans indigenous jersey is "celebrating 15 years of the Titans". There are now so many special jersey rounds that the clubs themselves are starting to get confused.

    Vs Roosters 🐓 Rd 6 2022

I must be going mad. I thought our performance yesterday was shite, apart from the first 20-ish minutes. It looked identical to our other five performances this year. People keep saying we're improving, we're showing promise, the media keep calling us 'gallant' or 'brave', but I just don't see...

Should we relocate to Redcliffe permanently?

Shoulder injury apparently, should be OK for next week.

    NRL Rd 4 2022 - General Non-Warriors Thread

This show has been surprisingly good (for a Sky NZ show anyway) and Mannering was great to listen to, although it felt like he wanted to be a lot more brutally honest than he was. Kind of sad although not surprising to hear he's drifted right away from the game. I'd love to have James Maloney...

    Return to Mt Smart

This is 'storm-in-a-teacup' stuff surely? I don't think one would detract from the other at all. Disappointing if the Warriors are really throwing a tanty about this. https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/warriors-threaten-not-to-release-players-to-kiwis-over-homecoming-fracas-20220401-p5aa1o.html

    Return to Mt Smart

Cameron George in the news again asking for all 2023 Warriors games to be in NZ. It sounds like a good idea and seems to have a lot of support from fans. I wonder if the NRL would genuinely consider it though (didn't Abdo rubbish this idea previously?) and I'm also not sure whether the world...

    Euan Aitken

This makes me irrationally angry. I'd be quite happy to round up all the "don't want to live in NZ" players on our books and cut them loose immediately.

    Return to Mt Smart

This is all good news but I still can't shake the question of why the club put a red line through the original June return match so early. It's still ages away, plenty of time to get it back on the table.

    Return to Mt Smart

So apparently the border will fully open to Australians from April and the opening to the rest of the world is likely to be brought forward as well. https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/300542040/covid19-nz-government-to-move-tourism-opening-date-forwards-to-april So is there a chance...

    Reece Walsh

I'm trying to work out if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Part of me thinks the club shouldn't be recruiting players who don't want to move to NZ, the other part thinks it was probably a necessary evil while we are relocated and to replace players who didn't want to live in Australia.

    Shaun Johnson signs for 2022

Why the NRL has seen the last of the old Shaun Johnson as he makes Warriors comeback Sitting up there wearing the old colours and once again part of a club that never should have forced him out in the first place, he sure looked like the old Shaun Johnson. It was his first day in front of the...

Actually since Matariki falls on the rep weekend maybe the Kiwis can book themselves a home game on the Friday night.

    2022 Warriors Draw

Damn, I was really hoping for a home game on the night of our new Matariki public holiday. I reckon that could be an awesome annual tradition. Bugger :(

    Haha, nice subtle dig there.

The Game 2022 NRL Draw discussion, speculation

f**k, I forgot Queensland doesn't do daylight savings. Is it still a thing to schedule only night games in Qld for the first month or so? Could see some very late kickoffs for Warriors "home" games in NZ time...
