    Delaney in Premier League

Unless we have injuries Burt will not play first grade again this year. Who would he replace out of McKinnon, Hayne and Grothe. No chance

    Aaron Cannings

There is absolutely no doubt about that but will we ever be able to get him fit and well. I personally really hope so but some players are just very injury prone and Cannings may be one of them

    its official FINCH HAS LANDED

Well there you go. Very interesting indeed. I have a really good feeling we will see the best of Finch in blue and gold. And the best of Finch could be very, very good for us

The player YOU will miss next year.

I find that interesting because I believe there will be a first grade wing spot up for grabs next year with Hayne probably going to fullback to replace McKinnon. To me that spot is between Inu, Williams and Burt. As much as I personally think it should be Inu, Williams definately would not be...

The player YOU will miss next year.

I am of the opinion that we will miss Widders the most. IMO he is the second most creative player in the club behind Tim Smith and the amount of tries he sets up will be sorely missed. Hopefully Mateo will be the player to replace Deano but I am not completely confident. I think Morrison can be...

    Delaney in Premier League

The answer is a resounding NO. Tahu ,Smith and O'Dwyer are all in far better form. I still believe Piggy is the best kicker in the club but just hasn't had enough practice over the last couple of seasons. We will be right for kicking.

    Dean Widders

I believe the way our club is run is that we have in mind what we want to offer every player we have coming off contract and every player we are interested in on the open market. We (the Parramatta club) are not prepared to compromise on these offers as we probably have a budget set in stone...

Jarryd Hayne to play for Fiji

What's wrong with Smith. He will turn out to be a very good halfback imo. Oh and by the way you guys have signed Witt. Not our problem anymore (I assume you are a warriors fan)

Jarryd Hayne to play for Fiji

Does anyone else think that by World cup 2008 he may have already played Origin and be in line for an Australian jumper. If so what decision does he then make?. Looking ahead I know but the kid is something special and it would not suprise me. However his current decision to pledge...

    Anasta News

Double positive for us. Finch plays well and the cowboys get beaten. In fact I watched the Roosters game last week and as bad as they were, Finch was easily one of their better players when he came on. Looked their most creative player (without any help from his teammates). To me it really...

I suppose we can forgive him

    Teams

I don't neccesarily think that the lower grade teams this week indicate pecking order. With all the guys available Inu is the only one eligble for Flegg so that is where he plays. I think Inu may be rated an equal or better centre to Burt and Delaney by the club heirachy but they had to fit them...

The players who should play this week against manly

Isn't the most important part of a halfbacks job to organise the team and generally set up his forwards and outside backs through his kicking and passing game. It is all about making the right decision. How often does Joey run the ball as opposed to passing and kicking. If this is case I don't...

    Nutley

That was the late Steve Rogers who granted that release, wasn't it. Apparently there were a couple of players (like Michael Sullivan and Nutley) who would walk into his office asking for a release and Sludge would grant the release over a handshake. That was the old way of doing deals and it...

    Reality Check

Last night on NRL Scoreboard the panel compared our current defence to the Bulldogs (in a round about way). As much as I hate the dogs I consider this to be a massive wrap. They also said that our current form and position reminds them of a club from last year that went on to win the comp. I...

    Ref for this weekend. Dejavu

At least it is our home game. He is such a home side referee. It will also give him him the chance to right his wrongs from the last time we met Manly although I won't be holding my breath

The players who should play this week against manly

No changes unless Tahu is 100% fit. If he is fit, unfortunately Chalky becomes 18th man (as much as I rate the guy and he is unbelievable form). A lot of people are saying to drop Ben Smith. However there are two reasons he has appeared quite over the last couple of weeks. 1. All the attack...

    The end of Hitler?

Just on Riddell, did anyone see how uncomfortable he was on the Thursday Footy show when the boys kept calling him Piggy.I have heard previously that he hates that nickname but he looked like he wanted to throttle the boys when they kept using it. Didn't stop them saying it though.

    Nutley

Would be a very good signing at the right money. Was extremely underrated at Cronulla. That article in yesterdays paper also said Nutley was a chance of winning the Man of Steel. He must be playing well over there
